People who value freedom are capable of tolerating dissent and of giving consideration to new ideas.
The Left isn’t like that. They have ... a simpler Solution.
Intolerance will NOT be tolerated.
Illinois Nazis?
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could hold our positions on health matters in a space that allowed us to modify our positions when new data and interpretations present themselves?
OK, I know that’s a fantasy, but it’s how science actually works. Science is the practice of questioning things, constantly—offering alternative hypotheses to accepted “wisdom,” and then testing those new hypotheses. If you don’t hold “conventional wisdom” up to examination, then you’re not doing science, you’re doing propaganda. Questioning is how we grow our knowledge base in the first place. You can’t do that if you silence the questioners.

It’s not just medicine, but all science, particularly “climate science”.
They have become propagandists.
The people who demand that we tolerate the intolerable are the most intolerant.
Good article.

Get your vax — get it every damn day, I really don’t GAF.
But deceive us, force advanced medical tech on us — you’re asking for trouble.
This is not the grocery company, but a 35 yr old health food publication…however, some people say there is a connection.
But before Freepers do a knee-jerk attack on Whole Foods (the grocery company), it was demonized during the Obama era because the company wouldn’t go into socialized medicine and actually had its own independent medical insurance program that even covered part-timers.
There’s still a lot of independent thinkers out there, even on what many would consider the left, and this article is a good example of that. And the author is tough enough to insist on freedom of speech and not let himself be intimidated. We need more like him.
When I started a major journey back to good health about 3 years ago, I became aware of the censorship & “persecution” of doctors, scientists, & true investigative journalists, to name a few, who were battling Big Ag/Big Pharma on the nutrition/food fronts. The SAD (Standard American Diet) is fueling the obesity epidemic and all that goes with it ... actually, it’s ‘metabolic syndrome’ and obesity is one of the symptoms. Type 2 Diabetes CAN be prevented, it CAN be reversed - you do not necessarily have to suffer kidney failure, amputations, lose your eyesight due to diabetic retinopathy .... T2D does not have to be chronic & progressive, but that is what the vast majority are told and believe. It is also what docs in med school are taught - funded by Big Pharma, of course.
Now, COVID is the newest cash cow. Big Pharma, Fauci, the Chinese, gov’t bureaucrats .... they’ve conspired to make tons of $$, just as Big Pharma/Ag have been doing with vegetable seed oils, processed foods, & a pill for every undesirable symptom, rather than correcting root causes. ALL of this is at the expense of peoples’ health ... they just don’t give a d@mn whose health they ruin or even who they kill.
“We’ve got a way bigger problem than ‘Disinformation’” is a an understatement of breathtaking proportions.
After reading this, I was reminded of one of my favorite lines written by Erich Heller, the author of The Disinherited Mind (a brilliant study,of modern thought and literature). As Heller writes:
“One...half-truth in which our common sense indulges (and much of our higher education is based on, including its ‘crisis’) is the doctrine that any kind of knowledge, as long as it supplies us with correctly ascertained facts, is worth teaching and learning, and the more such correct facts we accumulate, the nearer we come to Truth.
We have become so democratic in our habits of thought that we are convinced that Truth is determined through a plebiscite of facts.”
Yes it is worth reading! Thanks and I hope it sinks in for some on the left. I think social media has made us more tribal, it’s awful.
Ja! Wir sind die Linke, und wir haben die Endlosung!
I’ve been down that same road as you, except longer. It led me to The books of Dr. Thomas E. Levy, MD, JD and thence to the Orthomolecular type of medicine, as opposed to allopathic medicine, and I am recently beginning to notice that even the Chiropractic field seems to actually have an awareness of nutrition as an aspect of health, which established medicine absolutely does not. Anyway, the Pharma companies are our enemies as much as Chyna, and I agree completely with your post.
The cure for the prog based propaganda campaign of "disinformation?"
COUNTERINFORMATION
The prog hurls the claim of "disinformation," answer them with Counterinformation and challenge them to prove it wrong.
Thank you, fellow traveler!
I know money is a big part of this but I don't think it is the real motive. What they are forcing on us has nothing to do with our health even if the people that are involved think it is, it is much more sinister than that. Who or what has the power to make the whole world knuckle under to this tyranny?
The Scientific Process is used to evaluate observable reactions under certain conditions for a finite time and see if such reactions are repeatable.
Science is a process not a religious faith.
Check this out, there is a lot of information here-

I think I’d probably notice the gorilla. I’m very ‘geared’ toward animals innately, and through my work.
People tend to see and notice what they’re deeply concerned about. This can be good, but can lead to tunnel-vision.
Several people can walk down a street together, even engaging in a conversation - and one will see all of the architectural aspects of the buildings, another will mainly notice the birds; my husband will be watching the sky for weather signs.
People are also generally wrapped-up in their own problems and worries.
Who knows what people DON’T see?
Science isn’t much different - it’s never ‘settled’ because it’s unavoidable for science to be uninfluenced by either its own current weaknesses, or the preconceived biases of the scientist.
