"....but many forgot that you need a few days supply of fuel."Here in the city about the only fuel we have is in cars. But we have lots of water since the garden received way too much rain this summer.

Unfortunately, the forecast has Henri slowing down after landfall. Not expected to clear New England until Tuesday.

LOL, Long Island dodged the bullet again. Good luck Connecticut, thankfully Henri is a weakening storm.

Here is northern CT (25 miles west of the CT river) looks like we may have dodged a bullet as well—time will tell if the power will stay on...

So far just a summer rainstorm here in Newtown (near Danbury).
Been sitting on my deck with a Churchill biography and listening to Celtic Crush on the radio. Slight breeze and the sound of the on and off tropical rains is very peaceful

We just got home.
It’s overcast and starting to get breezy. Soon as I am done with lunch, everything outside is getting put away.

Thanks! It’s not so bad. I went to church and now i’m home. Maybe it hasn’t “hit” yet but this is nothing like a Florida hurricane.
