The Manassas Mosque, an Islamic worship center in Northern Virginia, will be able to claim 750 pounds of ceramic tiles inscribed with Koranic verses, the Treasury Department decided in a letter revealed Tuesday.

Imam Abolfazl Nahidian, spiritual leader of the Manassas Mosque, is a native of Qom who was offered the tiles during a visit to his hometown. He said, “Thank God the tiles were not re-exported and the verses of the Quran were not destroyed, and they were instead released for delivery to our mosque.”

Manassas has an incredible number of mosques and every day, at prayer times, the police have to set up detours to redirect traffic around the mosques as they are overflowing with worshipers who are out kneeling in the street.

Yeah. You are right! Any country that regularly chants “Death to The Great Satan” and has threatened to nuke the US as soon as they have a working bomb and delivery system is obviously bad. Oh wait ... sorry.

I have girl friend from Iran during the Shah. Her college degree was in Artificial Intelligence and that was 40 years ago!

Met a guy recently who grew up under the Shah who told me back then there were a lot of Catholic schools in Iran.
I’m sure they’re inscribed with wonderful verses, such as “Death to infidels”, “Death to Jews”, “Allah uber alles”, etc.
The tiles quote some favorite Quranic verses. “Slay the infidels, wherever you may find them.” “On the judgement day the very rocks and trees will call out, “Oh, Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me. Come slay him!” And then there are some tiles with images of the old World Trade Center towers. A rather esoteric mix...
