I don't think anyone with a concern about their career and political future would want that job. It's a dead ender. It'd have to be an absolutely greedy sociopath nitwit who would see no problem with jumping into that cauldron.

“’So what’s happened? Afghanistan’s political leaders gave up and fled the country.
‘The Afghan military collapsed, sometimes without trying to fight.’”

Dirty bastard. That happened AFTER we vanished in the night from Bagram and destroyed the water and electricity as we left.
Waking up and finding your “ally” did something that disrespectful doesn’t exactly steel your resolve.

"Biden is a bigger FRAUD than Obama."

Even Obama appointees are saying publicly how badly Biden has handled things. When OBAMA throws Biden under the bus, you KNOW things are B-A-D.

Typical leftist. They never accept responsibility. That means they don’t learn from their mistakes. Biden is proof positive. He has never been right in any major decision.

I saw the one-star General who didn’t even have is name tag on his uniform.

Isn’t that considered being out of uniform?

No idea, but would seem so.

Flag officers do not have to wear name tags. It has been this way for years. It seems they think they should be recognized without the name tags.

It seems fairly common in Generals, and maybe more common in Army Generals, especially in dress uniform. I seem to recall that it was kind of optional in the Air Force. Generals are surrounded by staff. Everyone that matters knows who they are, and they will usually be presented by name before they speak. They’re kind of insular, and a little bit crazy because of it. I remember people scrambling around ahead of General Creech to put the red dictionaries in drawers because he hated the color red.

“Buttden isn’t this stupid.”

Hate to be confrontational, but I really think he is this stupid.

Stupider, even.

I just did a DDG search for some known generals and they were wearing their tags. Maybe it was because it was photos at the White House of in front of Congress.

Or maybe it was because it was top generals.

Notice, however, that General Milley is not wearing a tag at the Pentagon when giving a briefing, though he wears it at official gatherings..

Gosh with headlines that descriptive one doesn’t need to read the article.

Kind of like speed reading. Took a speed reading class in high school and basically it is read the first line of each paragraph.
