Imagine that. A newborn experiences seeing most people wearing masks so the child can’t “read” the person’s facial expression. No positive feedback for learning. Surprise, surprise, they’re developmentally stunted. What is more concerning is humans are pretty much designed to reach certain cognitive levels at certain points in their life. If you delay a child’s foundational cognitive development for the 1st two years, will they ever “catch up”?

This “study” sounds like hogwash to me. The shutdowns began about 1 1/2 years ago. How much data could they even gather on babies who are slightly less than 18 months old?

Oh, but we must take babies out the home! We can’t have them cared for by their own parents, who are their best teachers and caregivers.
