Harvard lecturer Carole Hooven took heat from her own colleague after an appearance on Fox News this week in which she asserted that biological sex is real and defended the continued use of terms like ‘pregnant women’ and “male and female.”
“The ideology seems to be that biology really isn’t as important as how somebody feels about themselves, or feels their sex to be,” Hooven told “Fox & Friends” Wednesday. “The facts are that there are in fact two sexes — there are male and female — and those sexes are designated by the kind of gametes we produce.”
Hooven, the author of a book about testosterone, teaches Human Evolutionary Biology at the school and appeared in a segment dedicated to discussing how medical schools had gone woke.
The whole thing didn’t sit well with Laura Simone Lewis, the Director of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force at Harvard’s Department of Human Evolutionary Biology.
Lewis, who identifies on Twitter as a “Blewish feminist mermaid,” called Hooven’s defense of science “dangerous.”
“I am appalled and frustrated by the transphobic and harmful remarks made by a member of my dept in this interview with Fox and Friends,” she wrote.

She is only the Director of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force for the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology. Do all departments have Diversity and Inclusion Task Forces? How many people in each task force?
Can we be sure that Harvard, and all ass sucking liberal institutions, are doing enough to ensure that any transgendered, misgendered, cisgendered or disgendered individuals are the focus of ALL that we do?
Yep. That reminds me of what my brother told me last month, we were wondering why a moron like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is pretty much running the Democratic party now and he said “In the land of the single digit IQs the woman who scored a 10 rules” LOL LOL LOL
Hi Laura. I don’t respect pretend fantasies about gender and I already use the correct pronouns, he, she and they.
Kindly eff off.
blow their minds
tell them trangenderism is proving male supremacy
trans woman wins beauty contest
trans woman wins sports event
men are even better at being women
The article is so ridiculous that if you had not posted a link, I would have thought the article was from the “Babylon Bee.”
Truth and reality are soooo yesterday, and dangerous relics of white oppression.

“Blewish feminist mermaid,”
What the fresh hell is this mean?
Just as my tagline says...
I would think a developing baby awash in testosterone would permanently F it up somehow
I see what you did there….
From the look on its face this baby would dispute that....
Is it too hard to understand that babies are born with vaginas or penises? I think that means there are only two sexes but maybe You could help me get a million dollar or two grant to study that to see if I’m wrong.
I had to hunt around to decipher the meaning. “Blewish” is black and Jewish. I don’t know if this means black and religiously Jewish like Sammy Davis Jr, or black and ethnically Jewish like Maya Rudolph. Feminist can have any number of meanings depending on which decade she points to. And the strangest and hardest to find, mermaid, means a basically straight woman who nonetheless is attracted to women’s breasts but has no interest in what women have below the waist.
These people have “turned to fables” as the Bible says is characteristic of the end times.
Monty Python’s LIVE OF BRIAN pointed this out forty years ago when Stan wanted to be called Loretta and have babies.

That’s a lot of mental jujitsu to decipher three words.
We need to invent hermaphrodite surgery so the transgendered can go screw themselves.
“How about F you? Does that work?”
“F” is technically a verb...
“AH” is a noun “Hey AH” might meet the personnel pronoun criteria though...
Good one there, Hot Tabasco!
She’s just a graduate student, not a Harvard official.
