I don’t know one person who is watching the Olympics.

My husband loves that cat!
There are many young athletes competing who do love this country. I love and support them.

Rats, liberals, tree huggers.... they all ruin everything. I have watched about 1 minute of it and that will be it for me. I used to love the Olympics, but nope, there are no sports that I care to watch anymore.

We turned on some NBC streaming of the athletes entry to the stadium (which was empty), and they kept breaking to reports from the USA buses...

Of course, they went first to the pink-haired Joker Rapinoe for her feelings about the moment...barf, barf...

They just have to shove this Liberal freak crap down our throats...NBC and the others normalize LGBTQ+XYZ...whatever?...and their anti-American feelings...for all to see...

It’s a disgrace...

Also watched a bit of the Women’s gymmie qualifying round...Biles and her mates seemed to be distant from each other, not much cheering and support for their teammates...

IMHO (a former gymmie parent), there was something wrong with their behavior...as if there was not a very good team chemistry...? I remarked to the family and this was before the Biles meltdown...

Biles is athletically amazing, but she was really having a crappy night in those prelim events...major errors on floor and vault...

The next day Biles withdrew...and, she claimed she was such a strong person that she could withdraw (without injury) for her personal mental health...

Of course, the MEDIA offers Biles up for SAINTHOOD...normalizing a QUITTER!

Saints and Heroes DON’T QUIT...!

No more Olympics viewing here...after this S*#& Show...!

I noticed that as well, melancholy is the only way to describe the team, odd.

Basically, I like track and field. I can search for the replay of any event and watch only it. I get a minimum of announcer mumbo jumbo.

Who really wants to watch twirley ribbon jump dancing? You gotta be fit, I suppose, but in my mind that is not a sport.

I blame it on the two causes: biological weapon called “covid 19”, the timing, 2021 woud be normally an off year. Plus too much wookness.

Agreed. There are several so-called sports that were added to attract the touchy-feely-weepy crowd. Some of the best sports are not covered at all, such as shooting and equestrian, to name just two.

Too many sports that require judges.

IMHO anything that requires judges isn’t a sport.

I absolutely agree with you that the virus is a bio-weapon. Probably will never be proven, but the outline is very clear.

I watch all the rugby. GB men’s 7 took a knee and got beat by Argentina who took bronze. Fiji and NZ are always good. Great gold match between them.
US women’s 7 are looking good. Did catch some shooting. US took gold in men and women skeet.
I refuse to let a couple of wokesters keep me from enjoying the events I like to watch. And most of the US gold medalists proudly carry our flag.
I ignore the commercials either reading or working on laptop.

What a great story with American Sunisa Lee winning the Women’s Gymnastics All-around gold medal! Proud of her achievements.

And yet few will even know her name, it’s still all about Simone to the media for her “bravery”.

I think you are correct. I feel genuinely sorry for Biles, and she was one of those abused by Larry Nassar. Sounds like she felt she could not say no, and then it was too late when she did.

I’m hoping that Lee gets some good publicity along with her teammates. They really have earned it.

Is Biles participating in the individual events?

If the ‘games’ are only for the small percentage of people who are leftwing ‘elites’ and their commie and POC pets - then yeah, I’m outta here.

If the games were only for Trump supporters I doubt liberals would watch them either.
