Respect LBGT rights or get out of the EU, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte instructed Hungary’s Viktor Orban at last week’s gathering of the European Union in Brussels.
According to Reuters, attendees described it as the “most intense personal clash among the bloc’s leaders in years.”
What caused the clash?
Hungary just passed a law that bans schools from using materials seen as pro-homosexuality. According to the AP, the new law “prohibits sharing content on homosexuality or sex reassignment to people under 18 in school sex education programs, films or advertisements.”
Rutte eagerly related details of his confrontation with Orban: “It was really forceful, a deep feeling that this could not be. It was about our values; this is what we stand for.”

I support Hungary. Kids get enough crap taught in schools. Let’s not add more.
If Hungary looks East they’ll see another group of European countries with NO INTEREST in having their kids attacked by gays either. They may want think hard about that option, given that they literally have NOTHING in common with what the West has become or where it is going (although they’ll have to ignore recent history to do so).
Get out of the EU!

I support Hungary. Kids should be able to live their lives free from all the pettiness of adults, and free from the abuse, in all of its forms, poured onto kids today.
In defining ‘kids’, I agree with the term ‘age of decision’, and for arguments sake, “the age one gets their learner’s permiit”.

That’s what I’m getting at. Russia also protects their kids from drag queens. Not easy, given recent history, but the EU almost seems to want it.
Yes...me too. I would consider moving there but it is a strange country. I can’t say I prefer it to other Balkans or e. European countries.
I am Hungarian, born in the USA.
What Hungary has done is to protect parental rights. The law to prohibit educating kids about LGBT is to allow parents the freedom to teach it, if they choose so.
The EU wants schools to be indoctrination camps and parents to have no input on what is taught.
Orban said that EU liberals are intolerant of different opinions and that is why they attack Hungary repeatedly. Hungary is standing for its citizens.

Czech Republic is pretty far gone. They will have same-sexmarriage very soon.
Poland doesn’t like the western secularism, but they are still going to take it over the alternative of being under Russia’s thumb again.
Exactly. But gays want to destroy heteronormality and with it, Western Civilization. This isn’t about tolerance.

“It was about our values;this is what we stand for” said Rutte. I guess it doesn’t matter what Orban or the Hungarian people stand for. I hope they leave the EU and it falls apart from it’s own stupid policies.
