I don’t think this decision prevents ballot harvesting. It just allows states to ban the practice.

What in the world do white men have to do with it?

When examined critically, one can only surmise that RATs think non-whites are too ignorant to handle simple chores like filing a change-of-address, obtaining a photo id, etc.

No ballot harvesting in Indian reservations is upheld. Big deal.

I think your correct. States have always run their own elections. As long as the State laws do not violate the right to vote, including the 1965 Voting rights bill, the court to me is saying the Federal Government (bureaucrats from DC) do not have the authority to regulate local elections. So as long as GA’s law is in line with Arizona’s, and it is, then I think AG Marland will loose his lawsuit against GA’s voting law.

Correct. The states can outlaw it. The importance of this decision is that SCOTUS reaffirmed the rights of states to control the voting process. HR-1 includes a provision for mandatory ballot harvesting in the entire country.

Yes, I recall that somebody (perhaps an attorney or a cop) recently got in trouble with his employers for posting a meme about how to detect a white supremacist: has a job, pays his bills, can read, etc.

Her reaction is full leftist condescension bigotry on parade.

Kagan thinks blacks are not intelligent enough to obtain an ID, even if they had to obtain one for EBT.

Unreal, if true.

I keep saying...amazing what we’re witnessing.

I’ll have to look for/read her dissent.

It’s not shocking at all.

Deep State wants to keep the discussion on Voter ID and they threw us a bone to keep it going.

Meanwhile, even if every voter is a legal voter, using RCV and crooked voting machines, elections can and will be stolen.

Let’s not be suckered into taking our eyes off the ball.

If election integrity is what we want, we won’t get it until we repeal RCV wherever it’s in use and go back to dumb voter machines.

So if someone steals one of her checks and tries to cash it and photo ID is not required would Mama Cass Kagan be just fine with that? Simple rules for voting. Be a legal citizen qualified to vote, registered, have a valid photo ID and only vote once. It’s not complex nor subject to loud mouthed dissident dividers for political gains.

White men are used to getting attacked. You just hold the fort against the howling savages (I’m sorry; howling indigenous people) and hope that Beauregard Truehart makes it through to the cavalry.

Even Roberts voted for it.

This might be the biggest part of the story.

These people act like there is a group of people cut off from society way up in Appalachia who load up their pack mules once every other year to travel down out of the mountains to vote. I defy any of them to show me a group of people who is so destitute they cannot abide by the voter integrity laws, yet do not take any Government assistance whatsoever. Because if they did, they would have had to provide proof of identification in order to do so.

Getting sick of judges writing “opinions” instead of quoting law. I could care less what this pigs opinion is. She didn’t take an oath to uphold opinions.
