I think your correct. States have always run their own elections. As long as the State laws do not violate the right to vote, including the 1965 Voting rights bill, the court to me is saying the Federal Government (bureaucrats from DC) do not have the authority to regulate local elections. So as long as GA’s law is in line with Arizona’s, and it is, then I think AG Marland will loose his lawsuit against GA’s voting law.
