When Wency Suo heard Idaho’s lieutenant governor was creating a task force to look into “indoctrination” in schools, she had a mix of emotions: surprise, disappointment, and anger.
At the task force’s first meeting, Suo, a rising high school junior in Boise, noticed something right away — the absence of people of color on the task force.
She said she already distrusted the intentions behind the task force, and what she saw during the first meeting worried her even more. Caitlin Yang, a rising junior in Boise, said she was skeptical at first when she heard of the task force. When she saw the first meeting, it was clear “what they wanted and what they wanted to take away,” she told the Idaho Statesman. That, she said, included preventing students’ right to be “fully educated on issues about race and the history of race.” Suo and Yang — founders of the Idaho Asian American Pacific Islander Youth Alliance — are part of a group of students who have organized to speak up about the task force assembled by Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin to look into claims of indoctrination in Idaho schools. The task force met for the first time last month, and will hold its second meeting Thursday at 1 p.m. A live stream will also be available.
This group of students said they want public officials to listen to them — to let them talk about their experiences in the classroom and how they feel about claims of indoctrination.
But so far, several students said they have been largely left out of the conversation. And McGeachin’s office said in an email there is no public testimony scheduled for the second meeting.
Without their input, the students are scared about how their education might be impacted moving forward.

These ignorant children say “nobody knows what CRT is” and the very term “CRT” is meant to sound scary. The author went out of her way to find two Chinese and one Indian student snowflakes. The very fact that they know all about CRT shows it is being taught somewhere in the Boise area. They are so steeped in communism that they cannot see it is being taught to them. There are lot of high tech companies in the Boise area, so it wouldn’t surprise me if these kids are immigrants or their parents are. People from India and China frequently bring their socialism and communism with them (unlike the immigrants from Vietnam).
The Lt. Gov., Janice McGeachin, running the task force is running for governor. She is great.
What is a “rising” high school junior?
And yes, they have been fully propagandized/indoctrinated. They are terrified? Of what? It’s not like they will loaded into train cars or something.
I’m sick of the term “people of color”
I thought that the whole point of this bs was that we are all people and should be treated as such.
The lefties are the ones that are splitting folks up by the color of their skin.
There are plenty of white people I don’t care for because of their behavior.
“Idaho Asian American Pacific Islander Youth Alliance”
So there’s like 5 of them then.

What a twisted view of what a right is. Nobody is stopping them from pursing this . They are complaining about other children not being brainwashed with their hateful propaganda.
How about hearing from and talking to the PARENTS who pay the taxes so that their CHILD can be educated...or indoctrinated...as they see fit.
These imported dregs can return to the dumps from which they came and see how Chinese and Indian government treat their own kind. They are coming here for running water/flushing toilets and attacking the very country that produced such things.
The future of this country is dim as Americans decline in number while we provide the pulpit for this unassimilated trash to speak out against our country’s roots.
What do they want? Affirmation the WT is out to get them?
You can google TRM, to get one side of the story. You will have to dig to get the other side.
“What is a “rising” high school junior?…”

She’ll be a junior when school resumes at the end of summer.
Agreed. There is NOTHING stopping the little twits from researching the internet on their own, or maybe even - GASP - taking a trip to the local library! EDUCATE YOURSELVES morons!
Asian American Pacific Islander. Yea, that is a group badly discriminated against.
They just want to learn.... how to hate whitey better.
Outstanding observation!!!!!
I’ve never seen that terminology before.
Like rising bread, they are full of gas and puffed up so their size and self importance far exceeds their actual content. Difference is, bread, when baked, is a wonderful food; not sure what purpose these mopes will serve.
Common term for somebody who has finished or is about to finish their sophomore year.
Since we're in the summer, everybody's sort of between grades except the graduates - who are "rising college freshmen" . . .
The bill prohibits funding to schools that direct students to “affirm, adopt or adhere” to the idea that any sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin is “inherently superior or inferior” or that people of a certain race or identity are “inherently responsible for actions committed in the past.”
Meaning that the protesters are in favor of teaching that (only) one certain race is inherently superior or inferior and or inherently responsible for actions committed in the past. In any case, since slavery was practiced by many races, and in Africa before the Europeans arrived, then such blaming of a particular race must be restricted to location. But which can be reduced to certain neighbor hoods, and which becomes a problem for anyone who wants to blame just one race or sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color for what is a universal reality.
The author used that “rising” descriptor THREE times in her article. It is weird. I never heard children described that way. It seems all you have to do to be a “rising” young star in this propagandist’s viewpoint is be born to non-white parents.
The weak snowflakes don’t know what “terrified” is. They are so easily “triggered” that they would fall apart at the slightest real threat.
I hope these people don’t plan on joining the armed forces.
