House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy has defended Mike Pence after the former Vice President was booed and called a 'traitor' at a Faith & Freedom Coalition event in Orlando Friday.
McCarthy appeared on Fox News on Friday evening and defended Pence after he was heckled by the crowd at the 'Road to Majority'-themed event.
'It is great to be back with so many patriots. Dedicated to faith and freedom and the road to the majority,' Pence had said.
As he began thanking Ralph Reed, the head of the Faith & Freedom coalition, he was met with boos and people loudly shouting 'traitor!'
But speaking to Fox's Brian Kilmeade, McCarthy said: 'Mike Pence is not a traitor'.
Many supporters of former President Donald Trump have turned on Pence after he refused to overturn Joe Biden's election victory on January 6

You’re missing something important.
State legislators are like neighbors. They’re close to us, they’re like us.
Like us, they were, and many still are, ASLEEP AT THE SWITCH.
So no, it’s not State Legislators that are the problem, it’s US.
We were bamboozled. Many of us have woken up and we’re angry. Good news is more and more Americans are waking up every day, and that includes State Legislators.
I’ll give two examples:
Back in January, Steve Bannon War Room, many guests from PA including State Senator Doug Mastriano, people trying to persuade a PA House Rep to get on-board with hearings but this Rep waved his hands and said he wasn’t going to challenge anything, people needed to move on, etc.
Bannon, Mastriano and grass roots guests from PA then called on the viewers to bombard this Rep with phone calls, emails, faxes. IN ONE DAY this Rep did a 180 and started calling for hearings.
What caused the change? Ans. Pissed off constituents.
Second example, Karen Fann, lioness of the AZ Senate, in the days following the steal, people were telling Senate President Fann of all the fraud. Karen was like “ C’mon, we have to accept the results and move on.”
Then Karen was besieged by voters pressing for an audit. After weeks of observing the deceit of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, Karen started showing fangs and eyes for blood. You don’t want to cross this lady, don’t even think of getting on her bad side. Karen Fann then joined AZ Senate Whip Sonny Borrelli to subpoena Maricopa, first time in 45 years AZ State Senate had issued a subpoena to a county. They had to go back and figure out how to do it. And then months passed by, in and out of court, Maricopa playing games, until finally an audit was prepared for battle.
What caused the change? Ans. Voters.
So it’s not State Legislators, it’s US at the grass roots.
We are what makes the change. Democrats have been activists for decades. We couldn’t be bothered but NOW we are beyond bothered, we’re headed for war, we’re headed right into it. It can take more than a year for a war awareness to surface. WWII, Civil War didn’t just happen with a snap of the fingers.
Why War? Because there’s no other way to resolve it. 2022 election will not resolve it. Democrats and their fake Republican agents are not going to just say, “oopsie, we did a no-no.” They’re going to fight to the death. That’s why this is the start of a war, not just an election cycle snafu.
We don’t want war. But war didn’t ask us if we wanted it or not. It’s just coming at us to sit on our lap whether we like it or not.
You should see Karen Fann’s office. She has a painting of Ronald Reagan in western attire at his Santa Ynez ranch.

She’s the real deal. AZ has an abundance of female politicians who are just awesome. One of them is running for Governor, Kari Lake, former Phoenix News Anchor. She did a smack down of a reporter interviewing her that is classic. She knows the news media and their deceit.
You won’t see this interview pop up on Google search or any corporate news legacy outlet.
Not for nothing, but blowing the dust off some unconstrued Constitution terminology and discovering discretion where others found it not would not exactly have been the greatest legislative Crime of the Century.

And he could have allowed the challenges to be heard.
Pence was never asked to DENY certification of the EC Vote.
He was asked to DELAY by multiple state legislatures. And he had discretion to delay because January 6 is not hardwired into the US Constitution.
But you entirely miss the role of Pence’s Chief of Staff. And the fact that you miss this shows you are not capable of making any sort of contribution to the knowledge base of facts and history.

Please cite one case of a state legislature asking Congress or the VP to “delay” anything related to the certification.
P.S. — A sternly worded letter from a few legislators doesn’t count as “a state legislature” doing anything. In order for a legislature to act, the legislators actually have to VOTE on something.

And no, the VP doesn’t need a vote from a legislature, only a group of credible legislators asking for a delay based on substantial evidence of fraud.
The VP could DELAY just as any judge in a case can postpone a hearing based on one side’s attorney request based on new findings.
The idea was to let Trump and his lawyers make a case before Congress with his supporters outside showing Congress that something was seriously wrong.
Nothing about JANUARY 6 is in the Constitution and therefore Pence could have said we have significant claims of fraud and I find it appropriate to DELAY the acceptance of these votes until January X. He could have done that. But he didn’t because he was controlled by his Chief of Staff who was controlled by people with money, influence, filled with Trump hatred.
When you know the full factual history, then you know Pence is a first class backstabber. The polling of conservatives is 8 to 2 against Pence, they can’t stand him. All he had to do was say I will DELAY, not DENY, but DELAY and his reputation with conservatives would have been smooth.
But what you don’t know is that Pence’s staff were conniving from the outset to replace Trump with Impeachment over Russian collusion and to install Pence as President. And Pence was fine with it.
Pence also caused General Flynn to be fired and prosecuted because Mike Flynn knew what Pence’s people were up to along with a slew of other slimy worms in the DC orbit.

No, he couldn’t do that. January 6th isn’t in the Constitution but it is established by statute. Please give me any evidence to suggest that a VP can unilaterally override a Federal statute under any circumstances.
January 20th IS written into the Constitution as Inauguration Day. So you’re suggesting that Mike Pence should have unilaterally overridden Congress to get a “delay” that could not last more than two weeks anyway … and yet we are here in June 2021 and we still don’t have the results of a single election audit from any contested state. Seriously?
Keep in mind that the VP’s responsibility under the 12th Amendment was to open the certified electoral votes that had been delivered to him by each state and the District of Columbia. That’s exactly what he did. Any move to object to any electoral votes had to be made on the floor of Congress. Several objections were made — and were overwhelmingly defeated.
The time to fix the 2020 election mess was BEFORE the electoral votes were certified in December. Back in that time period I even suggested several different courses of action a state legislature could take. And they didn’t require any legislature to appoint Trump’s slate of electors, either. No legislature did any such thing, so the certified results stood.
All he had to do was say I will DELAY, not DENY, but DELAY and his reputation with conservatives would have been smooth.
Baloney. His reputation was permanently tarnished among those Trump supporters who would never forgive Pence for failing to pull a Kraken out of his ass and ensure that Trump remained in the White House after January 20th by any means.
