Clever. If there’s one thing I like about BLM is moving cash from the hands of woke numbskulls to those of enterprising black guys.
Being a primary listing venue for minority-run companies will be the headline, but they’ll make 99.9% of their money doing absolutely nothing as a diversity-equity-inclusion play.
They will buy stock exchange hardware, software, network interconnection, and outsourced maintenance and compliance consulting all off the shelf. One or two members of the black ownership group will have to spend 2-3 hours a week signing off on paperwork.
Big companies will authorize secondary exchange listings (just as they have long allocated a portion of their underwritings to minority- and veteran-owned brokers), and broker-dealers and major investment managers will route a portion of their flow to that alternative listing, either on their own wokeness or fear or on the insistence of their woke or scared clients / institutional shareholders.
They’ll make a fraction of a cent on each trade in that affirmative action flow, but that could easily add up to $10 million to $15 million a year in profits on an initial investment probably significantly less than $5 million.
Will a Democratic Congress and White House keep the black Stock Market propped up? Maybe annual injections of taxpayer funds to keep them above water?
Will it end up being like a George Soros monetary fund an policy driver for the DNC?

So? Will they trade the stock of white businesses or white owned start up companies? That’s my only question but so far I have seen nothing that states their exchange is for blacks only. Again, if they don’t let whites in or discriminate against non blacks then yeah, damn right I will have an issue with them

I saw Sharpton worming his way into a photo op recently. He looks shriveled and generally just bad. He looked to be just a shadow of what he once was.
I like it, let them put their money where their mouth is and they might even do well.
In the meantime there’s an exchange I can pretend to be a part of and get woke-ism credits for pretending I’m investing in it.
