The United States is devoting $3.2 billion to advance development of antiviral pills for COVID-19, officials said Thursday. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, announced the investment during a White House briefing as part of a new “antiviral program for pandemics” to develop drugs to address symptoms caused by potentially dangerous viruses like the coronavirus. The pills, which would be used to minimize symptoms after infection, are in development and could begin arriving by year’s end, pending the completion of clinical trials.
Ping!
I’ll wait.....................
Otherwise known as Hydroxychloroquine.
Would you wash it down with some Kool-Aid?
Gosh. What could that be, I wonder?
My, this sounds...familiar...
Again… why?
Unless these are broad based tablets - they’re acting like this isn’t going to behave like a natural pathogen.
I’m waiting until there is an M&M version.
And why now? Why not back when?
I know: The mean-tweeting bad orange man is gone.
red pill or blue pill ????
I was of the notion there were ALREADY some very effective anti-viral treatments for COVID-19 Wuhan virus, which by all odds, work just as well against all the known “variants” that have appeared.
There is also a very concerted effort to bypass these relatively safe and effective therapies, or to suppress their use altogether. Hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycin has proven its value over and over again, but it is too “cheap” for drug companies to want to invest in its production and distribution, so they try to minimize any study that supports its efficacy and applicability to a wide number of circumstances, from prophylaxis to to treatment of far-advanced stages of the infestation of lung tissue. Ivermectin is also a drug of choice for quick and effective control of the progression of the disease, stopping the virus practically in its tracks. But it too is much too “cheap” for any pharmaceutical business to support its widespread use.
The management of these pharmaceutical firms have to answer to their stockholders, not the opinions of qualified physicians who have successfully used these treatments. And they have some high-value treatments that are supposed to be highly effective, except it will be months or years before they are approved, if ever.
This is such BS money wasted just because these bastards can’t admit they were wrong about HCQ, and Inver.!! What the hell do they care it’s not their money!!
Hydroxychloroquine
Zinc
Azithromycin
Vitamin C
Vitamin D3
What do I win?
“Otherwise known as Hydroxychloroquine.”
Was my first thought precisely.
Because....they are not getting their cut!!!
Because....they are not getting their cut!!!

There will be a little extra “something” in this one, too.
The Great Reset must go on!
