Attorney Gen. Merrick Garland announced the Department of Justice’s plans to aggressively fight voting laws. In a speech on Friday, Garland heavily criticized the ongoing election audit in Arizona and said the Justice Department plans to implement measures to stop Republicans from putting policies in place that ensure election integrity.

The Democrat judge also stated the DOJ will double the number of lawyers in its civil rights division within the next 30 days. The increase in staff will be utilized to challenge new laws that restrain voter access as well as monitor future election audits.

I laugh at Garland stories, remembering how we were constantly lectured as to how he was a quiet non-partisan centrist.

Acts that Garland mentions using.
Voting Rights Act (LBJ 1965)
National Voter Registration Act (aka Motor Voter Act - 1993 Clinton)
Help America Vote Act (Bush W 2002)
Uniform and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (1986)

Just a quick glance at Help America Vote Act and it looks like dems in the battleground states violated it in 2020.

He will resign soon. When the fraud comes out he will have a lot of pressure on him. I think biden will throw him under the bus if anything gets close to him. Or kamala, she is on the hook for the border mess and all she can do is laugh.

There isn’t going to be a civil war II,ever

Agreed. Wars only happen when elites fight among themselves. I can’t think of any time in world history when elites have been more globally united than they are now.

Garland is in a positon to support Voter ID. Universal Voter ID would go a long way to ensure voter integrity both within the State and across State lines.

I hope that Garland is following our Constitution in his wild attempt to hinder or help.

Does he speak for all in the dept?

What is the chain of command in the DOJ?

How many and who put them there?

I guess I don’t know .. trusted justice and the whole lot of gov have lost their way.. gone off on the elite wagon of old timers habits. And think they can work for one side.

Man!!! That Trump card is not wanted among the evil doers.

It’s pretty difficult to imagine that AG Garland would personally appear in AZ. Neither will AZ LEO or server be able to serve the DC-ensconced AG with a subpoena to appear in an AZ court.

What judge will risk his career (Ha! Just like Judge Garlard) to sign a warrant to take possession of the audit materials?

Will the feds bring more DOJ manpower than AZ has to guard the arena? It seems the AZ National Guard may be required to meet the threat. We pray Gov. Ducey’s spine is up to all of it. (He’s probably already gotten a call from PDJT.)

I wonder — will this be the “states’ rights” issue that touches off CWII?

What it should do is they all get together and sue first and if fedgov keeps acting thug like, secession should be on the table and the red states should join forces in that. A group of a dozen or more would be better than one state at a time. From TX on up the middle and the Southeast. It's obvious the Left is not going to leave us alone. There's just no coexisting with them. Balkanization is looking inevitable. It's either that or CWIII will be between the those same states and fedgov.

I wonder — will this be the “states’ rights” issue that touches off CWII?

I think so. It would be a clear invasion by the Feds in an area where they have no standing under the only thing binding the States to the Federal government--the Constitution.

It's also an attractive issue, inasmuch as it clearly affects everyone--and is easy to promote in a bi-partisan way without necessary reference to anything controversial (such as the fact that Biden's handlers stole the Presidency). And it's an open-and-shut argument if you quote the USC.

I'd argue the racial, etc., argument is a total loser legally because election law applies to everyone. As a political issue, there's no bloody shirt for the Dems to wave. They haven't complained about any recent election manipulation using novel local laws that I have noticed--because they all favored the Dems.

And without identity fraud, the Dems cannot guarantee consistent results in their favor. They know that, after all they have revealed about themselves since 2020, they will not survive losing national power to the GOP. The exodus of voters out of blue states will become a tidal wave over the next few years. Most of the refugees will be red, and the Congressional delegations from red states will grow while the blues' shrink, while the blues whine the blues.

And meanwhile, all the blue states have massive numbers of red voters occupying vast geographical areas--so there will vast "no go" zones within their own borders. Ergo, CWII. I'd say we should buckle up. And it's most likely going to s*#% to be them.

Whatever the Obiden admin, Schumer, Nanzi, Fauci, Psaki or their media soldiers say or write, we can rest assured that the truth resides elsewhere.

At least when the rats achieve one-party rule and start rounding us up, we can take comfort in knowing that their judges ruled that they did it legally. /s

I asked people staffing the two AZ US Senators offices why Democrats assume that US citizens are less capable than Mexicans? Mexicans have ID cards in order to vote. The answer....crickets
