Seems Hamas has not launched a rocket in the last 4+ hours.
Either they have had their capabilities severely degraded, or don’t want to expose any more of their positions and weapons caches. Or, they want to cool things down now.
If Hamas was winning and Israel was on the ropes, who would stand up for the Israelis? If the mass executions were underway, the bodies were piling up, and Iran and its many proxies were working on carrying out their threats to exterminate nearly 9.2 million souls, who would speak for the innocents? Who would be their voice? The media? The American politicians? The pope? Russia or China? The Israelis are doing what they must do; what they’re compelled to do for their own survival. And they shouldn’t give a damn what the rest of the world thinks or says. No doubt there are innocent people in Gaza, just as there were in Germany, Japan and Russia during WWII, but when good people can’t or won’t stop the evolution of evil in their own midst, they become victims too. If the inevitable choice is between innocents in Gaza or in Israel, the stronger will prevail, and God willingly, it will be the right side.
Israel suffers from a disadvantage.
Israel always tries(and often succeeds) in protecting against civilian casualties, as much as may be feasible anyway

the Fakestinians (whether PLO-Abbas-Fatah, Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood, Hezballah-Iran, or whatever)... love to inflict civilian casualties, indeed it is their number one Specialty

No it doesn't. The IDF always goes ahead and bombs a site after the "knock". The hardest thing the IDF has to do is wait an hour.
Well put observation. The Jerusalem Post (pretty pro-Israel) laments that Israel may be winning the battlefield war, but the other side is winning the propaganda war.
Sort of like what happens here when the ‘unbiased’ (cough-cough) media covers the commies versus the patriots.
Lookner is a hoot. But if I start watching him, I’ll sit here as long as he’s online. I didn’t know who he was and had to do a search on him. I didn’t know he started out as a comedy writer and had some pretty high profile gigs. He’s also ten years younger than me but looks twenty. (That’s a compliment, BTW, I don’t hand them out often. Take note.)
Just like in Nam with this country’s media.
