Former Vice President Mike Pence, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and other Republican leaders who are considered potential contenders for the GOP’s presidential nomination in 2024 are planning to attend a private donor meeting in Texas next week.
The donor gathering, according to multiple people briefed on the matter, including contributors set to attend the meeting, is being organized at least in part by Karl Rove

Notably absent from the speaking agenda is former President Donald Trump, who has publicly and privately blasted Rove.
The event, called the “Texas Victory Committee Donor Appreciation Conference,” is scheduled to take place May 7 in Austin, according to an agenda first obtained by CNBC. It’s set to take place at the Omni Barton Creek Resort.

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, is expected to first welcome donors to the retreat. The itinerary says Pompeo will be first interviewed. Pence will then be interviewed, followed by others speaking in front of donors with Rubio, DeSantis, Christie and Cotton, among others.

The Bush Crime Family and Pence are worthless. If you want more of what your government is now doing to you, vote Uniparty.
Third times the charm? At least Christie shows some balls to speak up, can he do something, would he hold people accountable? He might be hungry enough to prove himself to do so. And he knows hungry.
Christie is unemployable. So he has to run for something to have someone else pay for all his meals.
Because he can't win without being affiliated with a major political party.
His first foray into presidential politics was when he launched a very brief bid for the Reform Party nomination in 2000. He ended that when he realized that he didn't have a chance in hell of winning as a third-party candidate. If Ross Perot couldn't win a single state -- and even came in SECOND in only one state (Maine) -- in 1992, then there's no way in hell a third-party candidate is ever going to come close to winning a presidential election under our current election process.
His #1 goal in life all along has been to serve as the U.S. Attorney General. His "presidential campaigns" are nothing more than silly attempts to get enough delegates that can then be traded to a front-runner for a cabinet nomination.

The only thing I've ever liked about Christie is that he is articulate and does not speak in political BS-speak. I think he is a solid RINO otherwise. The last time he ran I found him very entertaining during the debates because he cut to the chase. I think he should be used as some sort of spokesperson/campaigner for the next candidate but I would not trust him in much else. However, DeSantis reminds me a bit of Christie in his shoot-from-the-hip style, but without the RINO baggage.
That's his choice. I have mine as well.

Trump wants back in the White House, that’s why he’s dealing with them.
He’s smart enough to know, no 3rd party has won the Presidency.
Trump is playing the odds.
No matter who we run against the leftist/liberal/democrats, we BETTER figure out a way to make this one an HONEST election...
