Apparently the prosecutor has said the bodycam shows the officers fired bec Brown was trying to hit them with his car.

The judge's actions here scream coverup.

Sounds like the judge wants riots.

Let the riots begin. Once the savages start burning stores, stealing dem sneakers, raping women, assaulting random Whites, they won’t listen to reason and stop the rioting and go back to their jobs as productive, non-violent citizens.

“..The judge’s actions here scream coverup. ..”

The investigation is being handled by the State Bureau of Investigation. Could it be the judge spoke with the investigators and learned releasing the four tapes would compromise the investigation??

Could be. There are often good reasons for investigators to play their cards close to the vest, as they investigate crimes.

Depending what the video shows, it might not be good to release it and see people jump to conclusions about what happened based on Al Sharpton’s interpretation of a shaky video.

Then tell me why Brown’s family have been given access.

There is no point to the existence of police body cams if the public is not allowed to see the videos.

Pasquotank County could shut off Elizabeth City to outsiders by closing two bridges and one intersection. That would be one way to limit the hoards of BLM and ANTIFA set to descend upon the city.

Hard to maintain a narrative when the visuals disprove it.
Though they keep trying in Columbus, Ohio.

I figure the recording is prejudicial to the officers and they want time to try and explain it away. Better to just get it out, file charges if appropriate or necessary and let the courts sort it out. At least there is video and it has not been erased so they are just delaying the inevitable.

District Attorney Andrew Womble says the body camera video should be disclosed to the family of Andrew Brown, but not released to the public for 30 days. Judge Foster ordered that the footage won't be released until an investigation is completed in the next 30 to 45 days. He said the video's release could hamper a fair trial in the case.

The family will see it and after a 30-45 day investigation the public will see it. What's all the hubbub? I'm waiting on the Kennedy or UFO files.

go back to their jobs as productive, non-violent citizens.

Problem is, their job IS to be non-productive, violent citizens.

IF judges won’t allow body cameras to exonerate officers, then why do officers have to wear them?

Whether it’s released or not, people are going to be mad about it. Facts stopped mattering a long time ago.

In my capacity as a software consultant, I sometimes help Federal officers with data mining. I can assure you, they give me the absolute minimum information as part of their request.

Even when I ask for more context to speed up the data analysis, they won’t provide. Very close-lipped.

Occasionally they send a letter 6 months later and say “We got a conviction. Thank you.”
