I don’t wonder. A regime which in the past has demonstrated a willingness to kill upwards of a hundred million of their own people in order to consolidate power, is going to be more than willing to kill off their “useless mouths”.
That generation is already in place, being the consequence of the one child policy. As children, they were often called “little emperors” for being notoriously demanding, self-centered, and lazy. Now, as young adults, many are unfit for military service and little inclined to sacrifice for the greater good. The boomers were born from 1946 to 1964 so they are now aged 56 to 74. The numbers you quoted above 64 essentially stuck 10 years of perfidious boomers aged 64 to 74 into your non-boomer 17%. They run everything now and they not only suck at it they actively try to harm others. I will say it again, not all boomers suck but enough of them suck so bad that as a generation they are just a goddamned disaster.

My judgement on boomers isn't age based, the generations before and after are better. It is the beliefs and culture of many boomers that make the boomers such a disaster for everyone else.
Maybe all that sugary cereal they ate as a kids didn't just rot their teeth, it might have taken a toll on their brains.
