Rasmussen has a poll released today highlighting the corporate risks involved in entering politics. Coca-Cola now discovering the cost of corporate wokeism as 37% of respondents say they are buying less product during boycott.
Thirty-three percent (33%) of Black adults say they are less likely to buy Coca-Cola because of the company’s involvement in the Georgia election law controversy, as are 35% of White adults and 44% of other non-white adults. As noted by the National Pulse:
[…] Respondents were asked several questions, including, “Is it a good idea or a bad idea for corporations to become involved in political controversies?”
Overall, 62 percent of respondents said that it was a “bad idea,” with only 20 percent saying it was a “good idea,” and 17 percent saying they were “Not sure.” When asked if they had ever boycotted a company over “political issues,” 52 percent of those polled said “No,” while 41 percent replied “Yes.”
The third and last question on the survey asked: “After the Georgia legislature enacted a new election law requiring voter ID, Coca-Cola was one of the companies that publicly condemned the law. Does that make you more or less likely to purchase Coca-Cola products?”
Over a third of the respondents – 37 percent – said that they were “Less likely” to purchase Coca-Cola products due to the company’s interference. (more)
Perhaps one of the more telling statistics is that 45% of those aged 40 to 64 are boycotting Coke’s corporate wokeism. This demographic is a key group with the majority of consumer spending power during the peak of their income earning. Losing 45% of the U.S. market audience is a massive hit, even for a global (multinational) corporation.

Gotta mix my bourbon with ginger beer now. lol
Polled Americans?
Oh what jokes I could make with that!
Coke is crap , loaded with sugar.
Easy to give it up, especially with
Their politics
Make that 37% plus one family. If I have to add any other companies to our list we may never eat drink or shop again.
Still good for cleaning toilets though.
Ohhhhhhhh, noooooo. Don’t mix your bourbon with anything except, maybe an ice cube or a splash of water.
I don’t buy a lot of such stuff but I like Dr Pepper anyhow, so when I feel like a soda that’s what I’ve been getting since Coke opened its collective mouth. I’ve also generated a list and am avoiding other Coke corp products as well. Might not accomplish anything, but it makes me feel better.
This is in addition to boycotting as many products produced in California as possible as well after a BS speeding ticket from a lying CHP @$$hole near Barstow. After all the fees and penalties and online school it was $500 for going 7mph over the limit on my Triumph in the middle of the freaking Mojave. Effin pigs.
Doing my miniscule part!
But glad to see woke coke going down. Fire all the execs
I am buying the same amount of Coke products as I did before this incident. It hasn’t made me change my opinion about Coke at all.
The amount I was and am buying? Zero. :P
I can’t boycott a company I already don’t buy anything from. :P
Right? If you have to mix your bourbon, then it isn't bourbon. It's swill.
I enjoy bourbon neat, mixed, over a cube. Just love bourbon
It hurt, but I had to give up Topo Chico, my fav mineral water because it was a CC product.
“Does that make you more or less likely to purchase Coca-Cola products?”
Stupid meaningless poll question,
Better would have been
“Are you purchasing more or less Coca-Cola products?”
People say they more or less likely to do something all the time, whether they do it or not is another question.
There are 40.5 grams of sugar in a 12 oz. can of Coke. This is equivalent to 20 sugar cubes or 10 teaspoons of sugar. All the calories in Coca-Cola are from sugar. One can of Coke is equal to 140 calories.
I know. Right?
Phrasing!!
I was in the store the other day...wanted bottled tea. Looked at the back of the label and that particular brand...Coca Cola. Put it back and chose another.
I absolutely refuse to buy Chinese goods or any product that comes out against America or patriotic Americans.
My appliances, furniture, autos...you name it, American made or made anywhere else but China.
Americans from border to border, coast to coast should boycott ALL Chinese goods and we’d see corporate change.
Gave up my Diet Coke addiction and reviewed their product line to avoid supporting woke people.

As an unwashed conservative Coke doesn’t need my families support.
Hope the Board of the company can explain to shareholders the business reasoning behind alienating 1/2 of the American populous.
