Valerie Jarrett, president of the Obama Foundation, is under brutal fire on social media for her “knife fight” tweet, follwing the police shooting of a 16-year old Black girl in Columbus, OH on Tuesday.
The former senior adviser to President Barack Obama, tweeted Wednesday after the Columbus police bodycam footage was released showing the teen girl, who was fatally shot, swinging a knife at another girl and about to stab another girl.
As we reported on Tuesday, Bryant knocked down and attempted to stab one woman, and totally ignored police warnings before attemting to stab another unarmed woman right in front of him. The cop may well have saved that (also Black) woman's life:
Jarrett then tweeted:
“A Black teenage girl named Ma’Khia Bryant was killed because a police officer immediately decided to shoot her multiple times in order to break up a knife fight. Demand accountability. Fight for justice. #BlackLivesMatter.”

OJ had a knife “fight” with the waiter Ron from Mezzaluna who happened to be returning Nicole Brown (simpson)’s mothers reading glasses at the same time OJ, crazy a@@ OJ, came to kill Nicole.
So OJ had a knife fight with Ron— and also won that, won against the two of them, both unarmed. Too bad Nicole wasn’t carrying- things might have turned out better. But hey-— lib L.A.
I think the cop should have assessed the situation and reported back that knife looked like a cell phone to him and he didn’t want to jump to the wrong conclusion out respect for their culture

Knife fight implies knives on both sides. Only one here had a knife. That would make this an ADW. Perfectly valid use of force by cop.
