Valerie Jarrett, president of the Obama Foundation, is under brutal fire on social media for her “knife fight” tweet, follwing the police shooting of a 16-year old Black girl in Columbus, OH on Tuesday.
The former senior adviser to President Barack Obama, tweeted Wednesday after the Columbus police bodycam footage was released showing the teen girl, who was fatally shot, swinging a knife at another girl and about to stab another girl.
As we reported on Tuesday, Bryant knocked down and attempted to stab one woman, and totally ignored police warnings before attemting to stab another unarmed woman right in front of him. The cop may well have saved that (also Black) woman's life:
Jarrett then tweeted:
“A Black teenage girl named Ma’Khia Bryant was killed because a police officer immediately decided to shoot her multiple times in order to break up a knife fight. Demand accountability. Fight for justice. #BlackLivesMatter.”

“Knife fight” to me sounds like the Jets and the Sharks are squaring off with as few switchblades.
This was a big ol’ girl who just pulled out a blade and charged a kid, meaning to carve her up. I don’t think “knife fight” captures how vicious this assault was. I’m glad a cop was able to put her down like a rabid dog.
Didn’t her protege once say to DemonRats, when they bring a knife to the fight, you bring a gun?
I guess the cop should let Ma’Khia gut the other girl. Oh, wait. Then the cop would be called racist for doing nothing.

How is it a “knife fight” when only one of them has a knife and is attempting to murder the unarmed individual? It was an assault with a deadly weapon.
The most surreal thing in the whole picture is the little show dog at their feet. Definitely out of place IMO.

Had Fox on a bit ago and was watching police give a presser of the incident. A reporter asked the police chief why the on the scene cop didn’t shoot the person wielding the knife in the leg or arm. I was impressed how well the police chief kept a straight face while responding. I would have busted out laughing at the idiot.

You’re right. It wasn’t a knife fight. It was an attack with a knife.
Recommended solution. Abolish all police departments. Seriously. They do nothing while cities burn and they will arrest you if you defend your home.
Alternate solution. If a cop arrives at a crime in progress, if the criminal is black, just drive away.
isn't just amazing how the Left jumps right in with a false narrative that has nothing to do with the facts on the ground. It's contemptible, the cop should sue her for libel.
