On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “11th Hour,” host Brian Williams discussed the fatal police shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, OH and said that while a knife is visible in the body camera footage of the shooting, the officer “fired his weapon” and there was not any “attempt to use pepper spray or a taser, non-lethal force.”

Let’s hope the cops take the time to ponder using non-lethal force when it’s his loved one about to be stabbed to detah.
Had the shot not been taken, the cop would have been racist too - but for allowing the other girl to be stabbed.
Sides are being chosen. You want police in your neighborhood/town/city/state or not?
Cops Didn’t Try to Use Non-Lethal Force
Some things are real simple. If you act in a lawless, threatening manner, the police will be called. Its worse if you are on drugs and cannot think clearly. Most times it ends without violence. However too many factors that can’t always be controlled or predicted are at play. Not too surpising when it ends badly.
- MSNBC, right now.
Oh how I loathe the evil, incendiary media.
If one watches the entire bodycam footage one can see there are actually TWO assaults happening. One is a man literally kicks a woman on the ground just before the altercation taking place between the woman with the knife trying to stab the gal in pink...IN THE HEAD. That was attempted murder.
Shoot the wicked wild one.
It appears that the life or safety of others was at risk. In that case deadly force is justified.
Best to get stabbed 1st and hope the knife doesn’t hit any vitals I guess? Stupid a-hole. Most stress this jerk has ever dealt with is deciding white or red with dinner.
Quit the job today. Do something else, anything else. The politicians you work for and most of the public hate you. There is an excellent chance you will get hurt, killed, or wind up in jail. It isn't worth it.
In every tactical training course I’ve ever attended, when we get to the knife combat training portion, the instructor always begins:
“In a knife fight, you have two options: run or get cut.”
You don’t get out of a knife fight without getting bloodied, and a knife-wielding suspect can close a considerable distance before a LEO can get their weapon unholstered. LEOs are not trained in knife combat (usually). Likewise, if someone has a knife and is refusing orders, they should be dispatched. There’s no talking down someone with murder on their mind.
Been that way since the 70s.
This is all common sense and it’s being thrown out the window. Are there bad or dirty cops... Yes, but rare. When the cops ask you to do something then do it. If you have a weapon then tell them and hands up. It’s like people all the sudden think they are above the law. The cops are not gonna tell me what to do. They are asking you to comply and when you don’t then things will get bad for you.
Couch potatoes evidently did not watch the whole video in real time. Things were happening so fast that I’m amazed the the officer spotted the blade and reacted fast enough to save the intended victim. In slow motion you can see that it was a 4 to 6 inch blade and was moving in for a belly stab.
It’s a jungle out there.
Yes indeed.
I am thinking, perhaps, not.
You are right. Sides are being chosen. The police are choosing, too.
They are showing the side they want to be on, siding with the Left in these Rat cities.
The abuse that they are receiving at the hands of the Left is actually going to pull them further left. They will happily join Odungo’s national force to keep their guns.
We, who support the police, had best be prepared for it.
Hey Williams you moronic jerk, within 21 feet, a knife can be as if not more deadly than a firearm. See the Tueller Drill. Link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tueller_Drill
In every one of these situations, the media changes the narrative so the White cop is guilty, no matter what. And if the cop is black, they deliberately and intentionally don’t tell you.
