This is ridiculous, going to war over the Ukraine.
There was a recent article somewhere here, that said conservatism is becoming more isolationist.
I am all for it. Why burn treasure in these modern days? Especially on Europe, Russia, Ukraine, or even the Middle East?
We have a country to rebuild, and allowing the war machine to do that is non-optimal. On the contrary, the result will be even more reliance on it.
We should secure our borders, and be done with the world. We buy or sell from them, and to heck with the rest.
What? Is this for the Ukraine? What is NATO going to do? The Russians have air supremacy in that theatre.

I would say a Ukraine event is much more likely than not.

If there are not contacts occurring at this second between Berlin and Moscow, the German government is incredibly negligent.
When Ukraine is broken, and Poland has to declare neutrality, Germany could very well be the big winner.
