More than 1,100 offi­cers from pub­lic safe­ty agen­cies across Min­neso­ta have also been brought in to help stem any poten­tial unrest, as the city waits with bat­ed breath over a ver­dict in Chau­vin’s trial.

A ver­dict could be returned as ear­ly as the end of this week, after clos­ing argu­ments began in the tri­al as of Mon­day morning.

The for­mer Min­neapo­lis police offi­cer is fac­ing charges of sec­ond-degree unin­ten­tion­al mur­der, third-degree mur­der, and third-degree manslaughter.

All three of the charges are sep­a­rate, mean­ing he could be found guilty of all, some, or none of them.

Ahead of a poten­tial acquit­tal, some busi­ness­es have even hired pri­vate secu­ri­ty firms to guard their premis­es through any protests or riots.

I'm IN the military (currently the National Guard). It's not 90% woke. It's 90% kids who want money for college and/or to play video games in the barracks.

And the National Guard leadership rolls their eyes at the missions to support law enforcement during riots. They send unarmed soldiers to man traffic control points and give orders not to intervene in ANY sort of enforcement activity. It's a joke. So relax with your ridiculous statements based on zero evidence.

Governor doofus Walz and milquetoast Mayor Fry will not commit to any armed confrontation and the National Guard will have no ammunition. However, if the rioters turn their sights on the multi million dollar neighborhoods in the lakes region just west of downtown Minneapolis or torch the Vikings stadium it will be fixed bayonets and shoot looters and curfew violators. However the poorer neighborhoods just like last summer will not get serious protection. Forty years of control of Minneapolis by the DFL liberals is reaping a whirlwind.
