The Capitol Police officer who allegedly shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the January 6 riot will not face charges:
An investigation conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia determined “that there is insufficient evidence to support a criminal prosecution,” the department said in a statement.

Who thought that he would? If Lon Horiuchi could walk than no agent will ever be charged for murdering unarmed women.
He is a POS though. He’s going to find that his life isn’t going the way he’d hoped. In fact for the rest of his life he’s going to be looking over his shoulder and wondering if one of Ashli’s relatives is nearby. Or maybe a ex-GI coworker of hers. Who knows what might happen to this murderer?
The video I saw was the hands shooting the weapon from an open door.
Still think this was a Congressional staffer and not a cop, especially since they steadfastly refuse to identify the creep.

To my knowledge, they have not released any video of the shooting. In cases like the recent Brooklyn Center case, it was released in a matter of 24-36 hours.
What are they hiding?

How is a woman sitting on her haunches and using her hands to grasp for support on a windowsill a few feet off the ground a threat to ANYONE?
I would assume that a civil case could be made as the video clearly shows that her actions were not life theatening. But who to file against?
Cop’s name has not been released so can you file a John doe type of name listed in a civil case?
I am not a lawyer but it would seem that a civil case is now the only possible legal action.
