While President Joe Biden pushes for stricter gun control regulations, the Supreme Court is considering several Second Amendment cases with potentially major implications for gun ownership.
The case comes before the court as Biden ramps up the pressure for legislative action on gun rights. On Thursday, Biden signed a series of executive orders regulating firearms, and the White House signaled that his actions were “just the beginning” of a crusade against gun violence.
At the same time, the Supreme Court is weighing whether it will take up two cases that could clarify the limits of the Second Amendment. The first looks at the constitutionality of licenses to carry concealed handguns. The second examines the rights of convicted felons to own firearms. The court has both cases scheduled for its next Friday conference and could decide whether to hear them this month.

No wonder Biden just set up a committee to study expanding the Supreme Court. Timing is everything with this administration.

I quit believing the SCOTUS was unbiased, fair, or reliable, just about the same time I quit believing the same of the media.
The Second Amendment has no limits. If you think it has limits, you're reading the Constitution wrong. And therefore have no business on the Supreme Court. Shall not be infringed. That's it.
Author must be a cock-eyed optimist. SCOTUS isn’t going to protect bleep. They’re now but a barrier to justice.
Once again, I've never seen a gun do a violent thing. I've seen sick people do violent things with a gun, but the gun's not the problem.
No need to pack the court with fudge packer Roberts running it.
SCOTUS will protect themselves.
They are now like all the federal agencies. They have demonstrated that they are loyal to the dims.
I would not bet my life on this headline.
There's nothing for the Supreme Court to litigate until after new rules are proposed, public comments are made, and then a final rule published in the Federal Register.
With the ATF's recent loss on their unilateral bump stock rule, it's clear that the ATF must pursue the full NPRM process.
And the rules that will be proposed will simply codify the ATF's "soft rules" on pistol brace length of pull, and overall weight of the pistol, and what accessories can be included in an 80% frame receiver "kit."
Not exactly Earth-shattering...yet.
DO THEY EVEN GIVE A $HIT WHAT THE SC SAYS? I DOUBT IT!
It’s not a crusade against gun violence, it’s a crusade against guns. If it were a crusade against gun violence they’d be going after inner city gangs and drugs but they won’t touch them because the perps are from their protected minority ‘victim’ class so they can’t be held accountable.
Packing the court.

Roberts.
SCOTUS is irrelevant.
Only a repeal of the 2nd Amendment is the answer.
People aren’t going to comply.
