I am consistently terrified of speaking either French or Spanish despite years of schooling in both languages, because native speakers are going to pick apart the linguistics like I would for English. If you don’t have ANY background, you better sit with someone who’s patient and honest and practice, practice, practice, because the world is always watching in some way.

The real meaning of
Si, se puede is more like, "Yes, it can be done," not, "Yes, (I/you/we) can." It's a passive voice construction, no active subject involved ... just freaking exactly like the leftist worldview.
It's incredibly patronizing to treat Spanish-speaking people as if they are incapable of being responsible, conscious actors in their own lives, the subjects of their own sentences. Freep you, Jill Biden.
