WASHINGTON (AP) — When former President Donald Trump was asked to list those he considers the future leaders of the Republican Party, he quickly rattled off names including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz. Conspicuously absent from the list: Mike Pence.
The former vice president is steadily reentering public life as he eyes a potential run for the White House in 2024. He’s joining conservative organizations, writing op-eds, delivering speeches and launching an advocacy group that will focus on promoting the Trump administration’s accomplishments.

That's a big no can do.
Is this from The Onion????
Pence was a true loyalist to Trump during his time as VP. There wasn’t a single issue that he deviated from the Trump line. Also, if you go back and check Pence’s record in Congress, Indiana Governor and Vice President he was a True Conservative 100% of the time and has an impeccable background as a husband, father and person. So, what’s the beef?
Just no.
I’d love him to run just to get humiliated.
I’m reposting a bit of what I posted earlier on a long Pence 2024 thread because I think a lot of people have forgotten these details (of why Pence I would never, ever vote for Pence).
Many people forget that Trump, trying to depoliticize the Covid response, put Pence in charge of coordinating it. And it was Pence who then called in Fauci and handed the government of the United States over to this unelected, power-hungry, leftwing career bureaucrat.
Pence is a quiet, covert Deep-Stater himself, and he should rightfully be held responsible for it.
a true loyalist? lol.
Not just no..... for me..it’s more than a no when it comes to this.
He had his chance to stand tall for history, to help his country, and he choose another path.
Please clap, part deux
He cant win in Indiana either.
De Santis, maybe Abbott, possibly Don Jr. There is nobody else at this point. I think that PDJT will be too old.
De Santis has really raised his profile. Abbott is hard for the left to slime because of the wheelchair, Don Jr has been, it appears to me, been laying the ground work for something. Though I’d like to see him run for the governor of NY or the Senate first.
All of this assumes that The Dominion is neutralized by then.
Pence was my governor. He is was and will forever be a political snake. He is conservative when it benefits him.
That's it. Basically he was supposed to be the traditional Republican on the ticked (i.e. the Bush wing GOPe guy). He had, at best, mixed results at all of those objectives. And the guy who's only purpose was to be the quiet dork in the back of the room is hardly a good reason to make him President. So what did he do in that role that set him up for it? Nothing, until the very end when he folded like a cheap suit and played a big role in election fraud.
No thanks to this Bush-wing GOPe jerk.
Someone needs to tell Mr Pence he shouldn’t waste his time, and money.
Last thing we need is another mild mannered, ‘nice guy’ who will let Dems walk on him. IF Trump doesn’t run, imho, Pompeo/Cotton could be good ticket. Pompeo is strong & tough like Trump but uses more disciple language.
Traitor Pence???? Who is telling him he has a snowball’s chance?

No.
Rove? Kristol? Somebody is telling Benedict Pence that the country needs him and he has a chance. If he doesn’t realize the level of disgust and revulsion most of us have for him he’s on drugs.
Go away, Mike. Your 15 minutes is up. We will not vote for you, we will not vote for any GOPe candidate. We’ve been lied to enough.
“...Gov. Ron DeSantis and Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz...”
Was Pompeo on the list?
My frontrunners so far:
DeSantis
Hawley
Further down:
Pompeo
Need to prove themselves:
Noem...the Female athlete bill very disconcerting
Cruz...the betrayal of Trump at RNC Convention still stings
Cotton...his “Trump should have done more re: Capitol riot was politically naive.
Fat chance. Nope.
