Yeah. The science stuff
In the 3rd paragraph above the NASA Prediction Solar Cycle Graph (Near the bottom of article) there is a link “Cosmic Rays”. Very interesting stuff. The sun’s cycles do more than just radiate more or less heat. They regulate cosmic rays that many think are a component for cloud formation. Less solar activity = less heat & more cosmic rays. So when the sun is at low output we get not only lower temperatures but also more cloud cover. The opposite as well when the sun heats up.
I have tried to explain this to the “follow the science” crowd for at least a decade but they are incapable (or unwilling) of understanding it.
Then toss in the flux in the earth’s magnetic field. Currently the magnetic north is out of place over 400 miles and moving. There are airports that have changed their runway headings due to this.
It is like God is purposefully spitting in the eye of global warmers. LOL

That is correct and the third largest eruption was the Long Valley one, which BTW, is listed as very high under the USGS lists for likely eruption. 17,000 years ago was the last time.
Yellowstone is listed as high.
Solar minimums make for interesting times.

Damned global warming, err climate change, err whatever the hell they call it this week.
I knew an old geologist (now passed away) that had done a lot of work with glacial cycles, solar minimums, etc. He was warning of global cooling years ago. He even developed a few varieties of seeds to withstand cold temperatures - they are now stored in some sort of “doomsday vault” in a mountain in Sweden(?).
