CNN’s White House correspondent John Harwood said Friday on “New Day” that President Joe Biden’s speech on the coronavirus pandemic conveyed empathy which “all Americans have been missing” in their president.
Harwood said, “I think a spiking the football is the last thing that President Biden wanted to do. What was notable about the speech was the appeal to universal values. It was striking in the way that the president conveys empathy in unadorned language, trying to appeal to the common experiences that all Americans have been missing during this pandemic. Appealing to them for assistance.”

Another comrade of the Deep State passing as a journalist.....and as far as having a President that conveys empathy...well, that just shows me that the dumbing down of America is almost complete if enough believe that crap. Don’t show me empathy over something YOU created and shows no sign of letting up while you’re in power!! Show me a President that will tell you to get off your duffs and provides a way for you to do it by creating jobs, a President that strives to make your lives better without the government input and interferrence so you can run your own lives!! Oh, I know: It's right there in that paragraph that outlines the character traits and habits expected of a President.
Qualities such as generous, understanding, sympathetic, church-going, a good listener and . . the ability to sit still in meetings for hours on end without a bathroom break.
