I loved the Rush Limbaugh show. I have been listening to it for years and have always been comforted by his ever-increasing audience. It showed that conservative ideas work. The show serves a purpose — a purpose that we need fulfilled more now than ever. Unfortunately, it is not serving that purpose fully now. Rather than building on his legacy, we are wallowing in the sadness of his loss.

Stupid is as stupid does lofl.
So, you FRauds can rest easy, Mark wants the Fox gig and has already rejected Premiere's offer.
God I hate this place sometimes...
"Gawrsh that Mark Steyn is so much like Dennis Miller he sez a lot of worsdz I dun understood and hees frum Caleefornia right? But this Stein guy? STEIN? Is he a jooo? Caint stand that Canuck akcent and that stu..stu...stutter, even though Rush often talked about his stutter too oh well wharze my oxy bottle..."
What about Jason Lewis?
“Buck Sexton has his own show in NYC”
Can listen to him late evening now not bad not Rush, better than Hannity, maybe even a better than Beck (ok that’s not saying much), OK I just miss Rush, hard to move on.
Mark Steyn sorry but no, I do not get his humor. I say lets start with DJT once a week. then maybe DJT Jr once or twice a week.
Lost opportunity
I will remain with the show through whatever direction it goes. I enjoy listening to most of the guest hosts, especially Todd Herman. Maybe they can devote Fridays to whatever Rush wants to say that day and play him.
There really is no need for all this back and forth about my unsuitability as Rush’s successor.
I was honored to guest-host, at Rush’s pleasure, for fifteen years. My penultimate show (on February 19th, two days after his death) was my personal tribute to Rush. On my final show (February 22nd), I had the pleasure of hosting his beloved Kathryn.
And that is that.
“Whereas Rush was always upbeat, Dennis is all doom-and-gloom.”
That was the very critical key to Rush’s success; his amazing sense of humor! Rush was funny as hell, coupled with brilliant analysis of the political class and current events, made him the amazing broadcaster we are all missing today!
Welcome aboard Mr. Steyn.
Thank you Mark. I loved it when you guest hosted.
Always enjoyed the whimsy you added to the show. Best of luck in your endeavors.
I agree. Andrew Wilkow is not bad at all.
And listening to Mark Steyn increases your IQ a couple of points.
Thank you Mark for all you do for the survival of western civilization. Your pleasant manner and fine sense of humor made you my favorite guest host.
It's like "At the Ed Sullivan Theater, it's the David Letterman Show!"
BTW, listening to Hannity today talk about how he saved Joy Reid from being fired by saying that nobody should be fired/canceled for what they say, it's just more Republican tendencies to go Vichy knowing that the other side will shoot you down at the first opportunity if/when the roles are reversed.
In that sense, Hannity is no different than Lindsey Graham.

I love how some people presume to speak (and feel, apparently) for others. I’m not wallowing, Leann. I’m enjoying the clips from the past.
So true. Since most of us had listened to Rush for at least 30 years I appreciate that the show chose to let us keep him for a bit longer rather than BAM!!! NO MORE RUSH!! It was a good decision but I don’t think I’ll ever get to a point that not hearing his voice will be easier in the future......RIP Rush........
I’ve certainly noticed that Rush’s comments on past issues STILL have relevance on today’s issues. He spoke/speaks truisms that are just basic and don’t change. Pick a foundational topic....freedom of speech, government, Democrats, constitution, American founding, etc. He was/is our guide.
Like going back to see what Washington or Jefferson wrote about an issue....still true today.
Stations now picking Curley up are owned
by Saga.Guess WGAN is bailing.
In Manchester iHeart’s WGIR has what was
the Rush show.WFEA runs Howie and now will
pick up Curley.
WXTK on Cape Cod and WHYN Springfield
probably are forced to take Rush/his
successor but who knows
WFEA currently runs Hugh Hewitt and
Dennis Praeger but that will give
way to Curley.
God Bless Tony Snow. Tony and Rush can now enjoy each other’s company in a better setting. Amen.
As far as Mark Steyn, he is brilliant, get over his voice and accent.
And that is that.
Some of us still love you. Thanks for your part in pulling the train..
Steyn uses satire much like Rush. But Trump and/or Trump Jr or Ivanka would ‘trump’ Steyn Or anyone else.
