“Get woke, go broke”, is a conservative meme about the cost of political correctness that has it the wrong way around. Brands don’t go broke because they get woke, they go woke because they’re going broke, and don’t know how to stop the slow but steady collapse of their business.

Hollywood's effort to portray conservatives as buffoons and a-holes goes back to "All in the Family," which started abo0ut 50 years ago.

I’m with you. Even if I find a show that is mildly entertaining the commercials are repulsive. There is a commercial running for an AIDS drug. Guess what you see through the whole commercial? I have stopped watching shows before because I couldn’t handle the commercials. I’ve just about quit watching TV. I have nothing against interracial couples, I have “dated” just about every race there is, and I don’t care if someone is homosexual, but what you see in the media reeks of brainwashing and I’m not participating.

I agree. I started watching Ozark, as I’m an auditor and the subject matter is money laundering, so many of my colleagues have been talking about it as a learning opportunity. It’s all I can do to get through the damned show with all the male on male homosexuality, and it’s just gross and over the top.

Coke’s not going broke. Sure soda sales might be down. But they diversified their holdings a long time ago. They own a huge chunk of the non-alcoholic beverage industry. Dasani, Smart Water, Minute Maid, Simply. They’re fine.
I'm working on cutting down on caffeine anyway - less coffee, less diet soda. More plain water.
That's a major reason I love President Trump. He fights back and never apologizes when some journalist catches him in a "gotcha" incident. Not like that Oklahoma State football coach mentioned by Trump in his CPAC speech who was photographed wearing a One America News T-shirt while he was out fishing and responded by groveling, apologizing for committing an act of "racism," and promising to support BLM.
