If all you look for is racism, all you will find is racism.
I never liked Dr Seuss books when I was a kid. Their weird.
This thread needs pics ...
“...took feedback from our audiences including teachers, academics and specialists in the field as part of our review process.”
The audiences ... the usual leftists. I am sure there weren’t really any non-leftists giving feedback. If they really took the feedback from their “audience”, it would be the children, and only those not corrupted by some leftist adult.
We are in a culture war - these are the modern day book burners.
Fahrenheit 451
Soon all books banned except:
The Communist Manifesto
Mao’s Little Red Book
The (Un)Holy Quran
The Audacity of a Dope
Gay and Trans conversion manuals
Slightly off topic, but focusing on loss of access to intellectual property —
I am not a fan of “the cloud”.
People read books on Kindle — the Cloud.
People stream music — from the Cloud.
People stream movies — from the Cloud.
The Powerful people can make any of that stuff disappear — or they can alter it. And then you have to consume what they want to feed you — because all you have is The Cloud.
I prefer real media, that I can own, and that they can’t monkey with.
The idiocy continues.
I do not like them, Sam I am.
I do not like the things they say,
I do not like them any way.
I doubt it. If you have to do “research” to find it in plain sight, it isn’t there.

“racist”
The clothing and utensils are all authentic so they must be “offended” by the slits for eyes but... that’s how eyes are drawn in china too.
‘Critics also have faulted the “Curious George” books for their premise of a white man bringing home a monkey from Africa.’
WTF?!
I once saw a first edition, first printing copy of “And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street” on ABE Books.
It sold for $11,000.
As a child, these books (To Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street and McElligot’s Pool in particular) are treasured childhood memories. As a five- and six-year-old, I checked and rechecked these books out of the school library dozens of times each. The sense of wonder about what could be, right there on my street or up in the hills above my house was unending. I read these books to my children and to my grandchildren.
I weep for future generations who will not have access to these treasures.
The left is nothing but whiners.
They’ll be after the Grinch for promoting Christianity, green eggs and ham for not living a vegan lifestyle and Yertyle the turtle for dangerous ideas of not surrendering to authority
Ugh a wugh a meatball.

Wasn’t there a govt in Germany that was famous for burning books?
They're going to cease publication of books to support books. How Orwellian.
