INVESTIGATORS are probing whether the kidnapping of Lady Gaga's bulldogs was politically motivated because she sang at President Joe Biden's inauguration.
FBI officials specialized in kidnapping and ransom cases are working with Los Angeles Police Department detectives, The Sun learned on Thursday.
Lady Gaga is offering a $500,000 reward for the return of her bulldogs.
The FBI is reportedly looking into whether Lady Gaga's bulldog kidnappings were politically motivated because she sang at President Joe Biden's inauguration
"Lady Gaga is high profile of course but she sang at President Biden's inauguration which takes this case to another level," one source said.
"The FBI wants to know exactly what motivated this incident."
An FBI spokesperson told The Sun: "While the Bureau provides resources if/where requested to our local partners, I would refer you to LAPD for comment as they are leading this investigation."
The Sun has reached out to LAPD for comment.
While the FBI is involved, investigators are working on the likely assumption the attack was a straightforward armed robbery.
French bulldogs are on average sold for just over $2,000 - however some breeds can go up to $10,000.
Another theory is that the dogs may have been been stolen for ransom - as the star offered a $500,000 reward after the Wednesday night shooting.
According to leftist ideology, celebrities should be immediately banned to prevent further cases of celebrity dognapping.

We’re now into the second day of this and still no official description of the perps. That can only mean one thing: They were minorities.
This had nothing to do with politics and instead, had everything to do with either money or a personal grudge, which are plentiful in the music industry.
The democrats are severely bent. Using the FBI to investigate Lady Gaga’s dognapping to indicate it was anti-democrat is truly sick. Somebody grabbed her two dogs. It’s that simple. To use the FBI to try to implicate anti-democratic people is as bad as it can get. And why is the FBI going along with this farce?
No one seems to be worried about the Human Dog Walker that got shot ? What have we become?
