Karma biting back at Ted.
Remember his recent and past comments about Donald Trump.

Just come on over to Arizona. It does still get cold at night but by Noon it is warm enough to wear a T-Shirt.

Unforced error by Cruz. Also, leadership takes leadership. And Trump is off the national stage, attention will turn to other Republicans.

I don’t see Cruz coming back from this (I think he’d be a horrible GOP nom for president before this, so this is probably a blessing anyway).

Well the media is sure working hard to put all this onto Cruz as opposed to what they normally do, blame the “president”

The optics of this whole thing are certainly bad for Ted Cruz, but all the regularly scheduled hypocrisy and piling on from the leftist media is pretty annoying too. Ted Cruz isn’t governor of Texas. He’s not city manager of Lubbock. He’s not on the city council in Sugar Land. His job is to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate, and I’m not sure how being on the ground in the Lone Star state is in any way essential to doing his job.

So funny, even Lyn’ Ted’s neighbors can’t stand them and outed them for this stupidity.

Cruz did nothing wrong. He got his family out of the cold. And - what is more to the point - he didn’t fill Texas with useless wind farms.

Any ‘conservative’ going along with this obvious bullsh*t distraction is a cuckold waste of space.

What the media refuses to do is remind us all that if the older power plants had not been forced to close then this nightmare would never have happened.

Texas just found out what happens when you depend on wind and solar power then it turns midnight and the wind stops blowing.

Stupid is as stupid does....

The New Rulez dictate that I not care about this, since the Left constantly and blatantly does the same thing.

I’m not sure why I should care about this. If I had the means I’d do the same thing....and you?

By the by how many other Stalwart, rugged Texans bugged out for toastier climes of recent?

Finally...optics schmoptics. It’s not like Ted is a consistently swell guy. Haven’t we all learned by now that he kinda bends with the breeze so why should anything he does/says be taken seriously or with more than a grain of salt...speaking of salt...Hey Teddy...pass the Margheritas!

You really think Ted is the only one that left Town? Texas has a governor...It's his lead.....and Biden's. Friend Biden sent 60 generators and blankets. Mrs. errr Dr. (cough cough) Biden probably sent cookies.

It's a job for the National Guard. It's what they do...deliver necessities.

But only the utility company can solve the "shortage" problem...and the juice just ain't there.

the Times reported Thursday, citing texts obtained from a group chat.

Heidi Cruz needs to reassess her "friends".

It’s terrible how Cruz caused the deaths of 15,000 nursing home patients, then tried to cover it up. Oh wait, that was Cuomo.

This makes it worse. Lets blame the wife and not take responsibility. He should have stood up to his wife. Told her no. Makes him look very weak.

So their rotten friends released the texts to the media? I can understand a family wanting to get out of the cold. It is commendable. Ted, though, seems unable to see how he appears to others. It is OK for Democrats to be like Ted, but Republicans will get destroyed for it.
