I wasn't prepared for the emotion I felt when the show music started today. Instant tears.

I thought Todd Herman did a great job that first hour. I am glad that he didn't try to hide his emotion. It was endearing.

I spent many years on FR in his daily and then weekly threads talking about him and what he talked about that day. As a big fan, I saved many old FR threads, bookmarked pertaining to Rush. Some are still there for reading, even though we can’t comment anymore. I’m so glad to know there’s an archive of Rush’s most successful moments documented by FR.

Here’s an oldie and goodie, when Rush said he didn’t want people “going FReeper” on him. Of course it was tongue-in-cheek, but I don’t think everyone believed it at the time.
