Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” declared that the Republican Party was not a “Trump-first party.”
Anchor Chuck Todd said, “This is going to be a lonely effort for a while, I imagine. There are some folks that are wondering is the Republican Party tied to Donald Trump, can that party survive?”
Kinzinger said, “So I think that’s the question. I was disappointed over the last few weeks to see what seemed like the Republican Party waking up and then falling asleep again and saying what matters is if we can win in two years and we don’t want to tick off the base. All we’re doing is saying what does it take to get re-elected. It’s January of a new term we have to remind people, the kid born in the inner city should have the same opportunity as the kid born in the richest suburb. That’s what we’re standing for. This is an opportunity for folks to join that believe putting the country over party.”
Todd said, “I want to put up a photo that was incredibly striking. Kevin McCarthy, the House Republican Leader with the former president at Mar-a-Lago. What was amazing to me, Congressman Kinzinger, it was the former president wanting to rush that photo out. In an incredible moment of weakness, he was worried nobody wanted to be with him. Here is Kevin McCarthy saying no, no, no, we wanted to be with you, and he rushed it out. Is it self-reinforcing, the party has now retied itself to Donald Trump?”

Say what you will of McCain - he was a fighter jockey who risked his life over the skies of both Vietnams. This was a conflict in which ~10,000 aircraft from all four services were destroyed in one way or another. Every time he took to the skies, he took his life into his own hands - partly as a result of enemy action, and partly due to his own incompetence. McCain understood his own limitations as a pilot, but went up in the air anyway, in an extremely unforgiving environment.

Whereas Kinzinger flew a bus over the friendly skies (i.e. no anti-air threat) of Afghanistan and Iraq. He doesn’t rate a pass for his apostasies.
May I suggest we call it the Conservative Principles Party?

I think what amazes me is the fact that all those Republican Rinos never watched Trump rallies. If they had done so they would understand him. Even if they would read his books, they would understand him. Could it be that perhaps they understood him too well, and were afraid to watch him and listen to him? Our job is to avoid getting tired of the fight and stay focused on local politics to keep the dross out and Patriots in.

Open letter to Scott Gessler, candidate requesting my vote for GOP chair of Colorado:
Scott, your “plan” sounds like the typical generalizations and empty words of the dying GOP, which has been dying for decades because its candidates pretended to be conservative, but if elected, immediately joined with the Globalist Uniparty and turned their backs on we the people who elected them.
And even worse, when we, the conservative electorate, FINALLY elected someone whom we loved and whom indeed was an ACTUAL conservative and a fearless leader who was forced to stand up against ALL of the globalist forces of the fascist left, and who was persistently stabbed in the back by the bulk of the GOP which cowardly refused to publicly support him and which fought his actual America-First conservative agenda at every turn.
At this point, I will NEVER vote for another GOP candidate just because they are “the lesser of two evils”. I’m done with voting for lying traitors like Romney, Mccain and Bush. Henceforth, I will vote only for Trumplican candidates, that is, those who stand up and publicly and repeatedly proclaim that they are 100% in Donald J. Trump’s corner. And Scott, I didn’t see you doing that in your email requesting my vote. You didn’t mention the name Trump even once. Nor do i expect to see any of the rest of the cowardly, traitorous, lying GOP do that either.
Now that we Trumplicans know what it feels like to vote for someone whom we love and not just vote for remote, faceless “lesser of two evils”, I look forward to 2022 when 70 million other GOP voters who feel the same as I do also refuse to vote for cowardly GOP candidates, and thereby permanently rid ourselves of the traitorous GOP Party, with the hopes that a new party of fearless Trumplicans can arise from the ashes.
Yes, I understand this will initially hand the Dems control, but they have, and will continue to have, control anyway because of fraudulent elections, so I don’t see that there is really anything to lose by first destroying a moribund GOP party that DOES NOT TRULY REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA OR WE THE PEOPLE!

WD. you and I tend to break out our Confederate Flag from time to time. I’ve been thinking about hanging one out my window. We still remember when our freedom and speech was threatened. Now they have brought out the same weapons again. This time they have even taken our personal private speech. When do we say NO? There is no place for us who want free speech. God gave us this land and it was established by a prayer for freedom and for God’s blessings. We’ve lost both and I’m too old to hope. We will likely go back into the Catacombs and lay low. Pray for our country first in prayer.

John Donald Trump WAS born in what is now the inner city of NY. He knew NY better than any person probably ever. He understands what people want. The colored people recognize it, especially after what he has done for them.. Read his books where he tells you what he will do and what he believes. Reminds me I must buy more “Art of the Deal” paperbacks. I give them away every time I get one.
