Several prominent Republican lawmakers strongly criticized a judge's sentence Friday that resulted in probation and no prison time for the only person charged in the Justice Department's investigation into the origins of alleged Trump-Russia collusion.
Former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith received a sentence of 12 months probation and 400 hours community service from U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg during a video hearing. Clinesmith pleaded guilty to altering an CIA email used to support a government wiretap of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Boasberg, who also is on the FISA court, denied special counsel John Durham's recommendation of up to six months in prison. The judge said Clinesmith had suffered the loss of a well-paying job and a career in government service.
Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told the Washington Examiner that "once again, we see a two-tiered system of justice where average Americans get investigated and imprisoned based on fake media narratives like 'Russian collusion' while government officials who perpetuated these abuses get off scot-free."

I like your 15 too.
We are just squabbling over the arrangement of deck chairs on the Titanic. In a year it will all seem silly.
Conclusion of “There are no guardrails on the Left”

The only three possible outcomes that I can see are:
1. The Left being stopped kinetically, as in Chile in 1973. This is not possible in 2021, because the military is fully cucked, “woke,” and tilting hard-Left. Battlefield warriors are being replaced by social justice warriors. Americans holding traditional conservative values are being intentionally driven out of the military. This is the true purpose of forcing the Left’s trans insanity into the military, transforming it into a hard-Left organization whose leaders and troops consider the Constitution and Bill of Rights to be obsolete parchments penned by white racist slave owners. Don’t look to the military to stop the current slide into Communism, they will be fully on board with it.
2. An eventual full-out Communist victory leading to a Stalinist “deep winter” end state like Cuba or North Korea. This is unlikely because A. the conservative Right is too well armed, and too well trained in military special operations to be defeated kinetically, and B. the federal government is too weak, with an American economic implosion looming as trillions of digital fiat dollars are created out of thin air.
3. Economic implosion leading to a collapse of federal power, a breakdown in food and fuel distribution, leading to a civil war that will resemble Weimar Germany colliding with Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda at the same time. This new civil war, unprecedented in its horrors, might eventually lead to some type of pyrrhic conservative victory, but only on top of the ashes of the American constitutional republic, and at an enormous cost in lives lost and property destroyed.
My current vote is on #3, but the outcomes will vary greatly region by region. In any case, it’s very unlikely that we’ll still have all fifty states operating under our current constitution a decade from now. The best advice that I can give to anyone reading this is to move as far away as possible from Democrat-run cities, especially when these cities are located in Democrat-run states. There will be pain enough to go around, but it will be the worst in the suburban guerrilla warfare battlefields around our major urban centers after the food and fuel deliveries stop–and they will stop. History is crystal clear on this point.
Questions for everyone: How much food is grown in your zip code? In your county? In your telephone area code? Your state? Where does your potable water come from? Will it be dependable when that water delivery infrastructure runs across warring territories?
I’m not impressed by Nunes. He started off strong and then folded like a cheap suit when he was targeted. Clinesmith got a slap on the wriest because the GOP refused to provide substantive oversight of the Deep State. Nunes needs to say that. Is he? Nope. Nobody in the GOP is willing to take ownership of the four year long coup that the party fully supported.
I feel a letter is warranted expressing our outrage in the strongest possible terms, yes.
GOP lawmakers outraged.... yep, and that’s about all that ever happens. The GOP claims outrage for the cameras and then walks away. It’s always, “Stay tuned.” It’s all Kabuki.
Exactly. Was Nunes “outraged” when Trey Gowdy breezily said on Fox that the GOP knew in 2017 that the FBI WAS LYING TO CONGRESS about this very issue? If he was we never heard a word from him. If Gowdy knew then Nunes did, too. And what did he do about that? Nothing. From that seed the fully bipartisan coup was launched. Nunes owns the coup that Clinesmith was a foot soldier in as much anybody.
Conclusion of “There are no guardrails on the Left”
The GOP removed them due to their hatred of Trump. And us.
At the end of the day its all about that one issue..Electoral Fraud.
ALL of “it” -all the Red-Blue triggering issues-the “headline” issues- intended by the derps to distract, misdirect, and above all, remove the focus upon electoral fraud.
The mischief starts in DC with 535 Congresscritters and a few higher ups.
It ALL goes away with a clean vote-which starts in the local precincts with millions of us.
It is possible to vote our way out of this yet. and of all available avenues -remains the most certain and most productive
The government can lie to the public to flip and election and hamstring a POTUS. Legal.
Unethical, immoral, but legal. That is the hallmark of our government institutions. ZERO moral legitimacy. Like the mafia, the government runs on brute force. Don’t like it? They’ll ruin you and laugh while they are at it.
Trust the plan...

... if the plan is to protect the Deep State at all costs.
Money down a rat hole. It would be a federal civil action in a federal court.
Here is all anyone needs to know:
Compare and contrast the judicial process and outcome for Clinesmith versus that of Gen. Flynn.
This is all you need to know. Spare me your boo-hoo fake outrage. Crawl back into your swamp so you can post another tough guy YouTube video and send out more fundraising emails.
At some point people are going to catch on.
Ha
The Swamp lives under different laws.
There 2 justice systems and you are not in the top tier...
Pity that this judge will never be held accountable for his dereliction of duty.
Nunes was a one man echo tunnel, yes far from perfect. The poor guy knows stuff we don't. Including just how far left the entrenched bureaucracy's is and that this country is all but gone. Maybe he decided being a Kamikaze Congressman was a lost cause. If Chuckie Shroomer ever said an honest word, it would be that the US Departments of Alphabet Soup have six ways from Sunday to come after you and your family. They need to be torn down and started over.
Misusing the full force of the country's intelligence services and secret police to remove an elected president = business as usual.
He’ll land in some Soros-funded think tank with a 6-figure do-nothing sinecure. Not only that, they'll credit his first ten weeks towards his "community service" hours (a "non profit," you know) -- then give it back to him later as back pay.
