Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

The GOPe and the left wing of the party have been assassinating conservative candidates since 1964.

And since 1964 loyal conservative Republicans - representing the bulk of the Republican party have been going out to vote for Ford-Rockefeller, Scranton, Bush I, Bush II, McCain and Romney.

This is Stupidity. I have been part of it. But the this latest attack by McConnell and his henchmen, sandbagging a conservative populist President to welcome with open arms a demented senile crook and his Marxist racist sidekick is the end of it.

NEVER AGAIN. Run a pro Trump conservative and they get my vote, if not, bye bye.

I share your frustration. That said, it would be better focus on cleaning house in the GOP than starting a third party. Splitting the conservative votes between two parties would probably result in another win for the Democrats. I don't think our nation would survive that. I think pushing for tighter voter ID and tightening the rules on absentee and mail-in ballots would be a good start. We want strong primaries to vet candidates...

Can you name a third party candidate that was elected to office? No you can’t. It’s a ridiculous idea

Can you name a point in our history where one party has turned on it's president like these Republicans have? I'm sorry, we're going to have to place you Rs in a corner and take your toy away. It's for your own good.

"Without a way to fix vote counting, neither option works."

But this is done at the state and local levels - this is where WE (little guys) can help straighten it out. And this is being done in a lot of states, you just don't hear about it.

True, our LOCAL GOP politico's were asleep at the switch for many years, but it can be fixed.

And it beats the hell out of the bloody Plan B....

In principle, I agree with him in regards to the formation of third parties. The problem is that right now, I'm not certain there is second party.

That’s a great quote there.

If conservatives and patriots can’t win primaries and school board elections, what makes them think that they can win general elections under a 3rd party? The remedy is to do the hard work and make the sacrifices needed to build themselves up to where they can win at the primary level. It’s better to lose elections fighting than grumbling.

it would be better focus on cleaning house in the GOP than starting a third party.

A couple things:

1) An alcoholic doesn't get better until they WANT to get better. Does the GOP want to fix itself? I see no evidence.

2) Joe Biden had a notable "slip of the tongue" when he told the world that he had built an enormous FRAUD organization. Of course -- Joe explained -- what he meant was that he had an enormous anti-fraud organization. But no one seems to have ever asked Joe for any data from his anti-fraud organization that might have shed light on the very odd 2020 election results. Was Joe REALLY interested in stopping election fraud? Or was he just "saying stuff"?

So -- Does the GOP want to fix itself? Do we see any evidence that the GOP is taking a look at itself and considering any reforms?

Or is the GOP really super happy with the current situation? Every time I see Mitch McConnell, he's smiling.

Forget about history in that regard. Trump was not a Republican president. He was basically an independent who hijacked the GOP nomination process to get into office.

Apparently Schlichter doesn’t understand this. We’ve already had the most successful “third party” candidate in more than a hundred years.

xactly, the way to fix the situation and stick it to the RINO’s like Liz Cheney is to PRIMARY them out!

Tried that during the Tea Party days! Look how that's turned out!

There is a way to change the party vice a third party. Purge the rinos as best you can, and if we can take back the house and hopefully the senate then change the name of the party and never let rinos run as a member of that party.

Until we the people can vote securely in an election it doesn’t matter how many parties there are. If DC and Puerto Rico become states the GOP is done. Don’t know about all the illegals voting how that’ll turn out as President Trump turned out record numbers of minorities for the GOP but I think the majority will still vote for the dnc.

Times are different.

The outrage and anger are real, moreso than even during the tea party heydays.

And they were able to rip the control of Congress from the dumbles.

Then they/we got screwed over by Bohener and Ryan.

How much more we wanna take?

From 2000 - 2020 I would agree with stopping a third-party from the right.

However, the election was stolen so obviously and so massively - Most Republicans did nothing when we needed them most.
What’s the point of Republicans???

I’m all for a third-party!
