WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden signed an order Monday reversing a Trump-era Pentagon policy that largely barred transgender individuals from serving in the military.
The new order, which Biden signed in the Oval Office during a meeting with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, overturns a ban ordered by President Donald Trump in a tweet during his first year in office. It immediately prohibits any service member from being forced out of the military on the basis of gender identity.
The decision comes as Biden plans to turn his attention to equity issues that he believes continue to shadow nearly all aspects of American life. Ahead of his inauguration, Biden’s transition team circulated a memo saying Biden planned to use his first full week as president “to advance equity and support communities of color and other underserved communities.”

“America is stronger, at home and around the world, when it is inclusive. The military is no exception,” the order says. “Allowing all qualified Americans to serve their country in uniform is better for the military and better for the country because an inclusive force is a more effective force. Simply put, it’s the right thing to do and is in our national interest.”

Oh well, Biden wants the people in the military to be just like him. And boy, he’s doing a fine job. Given the jokes of generals we got under Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota boy, this is going to be interesting.
Back to the Democrat favorite sport: using the military for social engineering rather than defense of the nation

They belong in a mental ward, not on the battlefield.

One thing we can be sure of, poofers will open fire on Americans.
If they become POW’s, the opponent will send them back to us as they won’t want to take care of them.
I believe the actual reason the Trump administration banned transgender people wasn’t because they didn’t like the politics. It was because most of them could not deploy. They required drugs or other therapies that would not be available on a deployment and, they were not capable of doing their jobs. Another reason may have been because the military would be required to pay for therapy. Not sure about that one, but I recall seeing a trans person discussing going into the military to get the surgery paid for.
May we assume this will be challenged in Federal Court?
That is a good one....
Under Jimmy Carter, homosexuality in the military was illegal. Under Bill Clinton, it became optional. Under Barack Obama, it became legal. Now that we have another Democrat in the White House, I expect it to become mandatory.

I think I will call the current group in Washington “the gang that couldn’t shoot straight.” It seems that every time Biden has to make a decision, he chooses the wrong one.
This is no joke: We will now have to pay for breast enhancement for the men & breast reduction for the women.
What kind of society does this?
Put them all in one battalion and send them to Afghanistan.
