Great precedent this will set. If the GOP gets control of the Senate, they can bar Biden from running for re-election also.
Will one Republican senator raise a point of order against this or the unconstitutional trial to “remove” a president form office who is not actually in office? The case is moot.
Leahy is 80 years old—forget term limits—nobody over fifty years old should be allowed to serve in any public office higher than dog catcher!
Where is the Chief Justice? This is his job. Has he resigned as Chief? Acting Chief Justice Clarence Thomas can preside instead.

No, Roberts has decided (quite properly, IMO) that as Trump is not a sitting President is is not appropriate for a Supreme Court Justice to preside over such an event.
