Scientists in California believe there is a homegrown coronavirus strain in the state that could be responsible for the dramatic rise in cases, a report said Sunday.
Two separate research groups have discovered the apparent California strain while looking for the new variant that is believed to have come from the United Kingdom, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Weirdly, San Francisco has had a very low Covid positive rate, and very low death rate, this whole time, in spite of it being the most densely populated place in CA.
Why do San Bernardino and Riverside Co. have 3X Covid than San Francisco? The weather? Lonelier lives? More arugula in the diet?
Covid is not at all well understood as to how it manifests in different environments, physical and social. The global experience of Covid is very varied, and there is little obvious logic in it.
Look for more and more “strains” to be talked about in the MSM for the foreseeable future, as it will prolong the control over the populace that Dems crave.
