Much has been said much about Peru and its use of Ivermectin as a treatment for the coronavirus. The South American country has been a point of reference regarding its use. The Peruvian government approved the use of Ivermectin by decree on May 8.

Despite having received several requests to suspend it in September, Pilar Mazzetti, the new Minister of Health, ratified it. These measures have aroused much criticism among the scientific community. They do not understand why they continue to distribute the antiparasitic drug without having a randomized blind study to prove its effectiveness and overlook that the total death toll from COVID-19 in Peru is one of the world’s highest.

Turning away from opinions and moving on to facts, it is necessary to verify whether the ivermectin interventions have matched with variations in the virus’s mortality and lethality. And if they match a decrease in the number of new cases, a younger infected population, a substantial reduction in the most vulnerable people, or other factors could explain the variations.

This analysis evaluated the impact of ivermectin interventions on disease mortality and lethality. Specifically, it assessed the effect of large ivermectin distributions on the variation in the number of deaths associated with COVID-19 in the population older than 60 years, and the infection fatality rate in the same group.

In addition to focusing the study on the most vulnerable group, the study analyzes other factors that could cause variations in mortality, such as the number of positive cases in the same age group and the reduction in the population group’s size due to the deaths.

If we had a public health edifice that was worth anything, front line health care workers and public-facing store employees would be on Covid prophylaxis. The Federal public health agencies (FDA/NIH/CDC) have seemingly completely ignored cheap effective re-purposed therapeutics that could have significantly reduced deaths and transmission.

In the US you go to the hospital with the Kung Flu and they will give you Tylenol without having a randomized blind study to prove its effectiveness. No one is even asking for one. And while it might reduce your aches and pains it will do you no good to recover from the Kung Flu. Then they will send you home to recover or get very sick and maybe die.

The logic escapes you because there is no logic. It is the strangest thing I have ever seen. I can use off label meds for just about everything, but the hospital chain in which I hold one set of my privileges has barred the use of ivermectin despite it sitting on the pharmacy shelf. I appealed all the way to the powers that be in Nashville, TN, where I was told that I could not use it despite right to try law.

We need to understand that nonclinical administrators and the abdication of medicine to ancillary services such as pharmacy is against the best practices for the patient. But the pharmacists, the nonphysician clinicians, and most of all the nonclinical administrators are the mother of all evil on the health care system. The blood in on their hands as far as I am concerned.

How many have died from taking Ivermectin compared to how many from the vaccine? Not died from the virus, from the vaccine due to reactions.

Everybody, you can purchase Ivermectin at your local pharmacy with a prescription. "How do I get a prescription?" you may ask. Or you might say "My doctor won't prescribe it. He won't do anything until I get hospitalized and in serious condition."

if one were to get the vet paste/gel form, it’s roughly the amount of what you would use for toothpaste- apparently it’s pretty ‘forgiving’ meaning it doesn’t have to be exact-

the frequency used to be once every month- now i guess they’ve upped it to every 2 weeks

Be careful though if you have liver or kidney damage- they say not to take it if you do
