Armed protesters have arrived at multiple state capitol complexes across the country Sunday morning. This follows a special bulletin from the FBI last week that warned: “armed protests” were being planned at 50 state capitols and the US Capitol in Washington, DC, ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
While the protesters are being identified across various platforms as members of a so-called “boogaloo” movement, they largely appear to be anti-government – some of whom call themselves “liberty boys,” and others who oppose the conservative Proud Boys. Their sudden emergence surrounding the inauguration is curious to say the least.
A field reporter at The Daily Caller, Jorge Ventura, reports from the Ohio Statehouse, where he notes that “580 National Guard members” were activated “to provide security around the Ohio Statehouse in downtown Columbus through Wednesday.”

Daily Mirror’s Derek Momodu tweeted, “this is very worrying…” as armed protesters gather in front of the Michigan State Capitol as Guardsmen are on “standby.”

I was slammed on FR for saying that Trump’s walk to the Capitol was a bad idea, because my common sense told me things beyond our control would happen. Which they did.
And so, I agree with other posters here, these Boogoloo people will create havoc, and we will be blamed.
It doesn’t matter that ‘we’ weren’t participators. The media will go full out on this as against conservatives and Trump.

Well, based on your thinking as described in your first sentence, I guess Americans should simply renounce their Constitutional right of peaceful assembly to redress grievances against their Government and stay hidden in their basements. In my opinion these movements stand in complete opposition to on another.. One is about communism, the other about liberty..

I’m a do something kind of guy, and I’ll tell you something.......any commander is a fool if they think it’s a good idea to attacked a defended or dug in position when the other side knows when you’ll be there. Even a bigger fool when you don’t have the numbers and you don’t really know what numbers you’ll have.

I separate Republican from Conservative.

So I can relate to people being fed up with the GOP, but they need to use their heads and we need to be United in our cause.
The Las Vegas shooter could have been anyone......but because of him regardless of why he did it, we had to destroy or turn in our bumpfire stocks.
If those guys are really on our side, they shouldn’t do anything to give the Left the excuse to come after all of us.

According to our local news (Raleigh) as they showed footage after footage of local police, state police and national guardsmen all dressed out in riot gear, with barriers up around the state house and court house, the news reader in the studio asked the reporterette on the scene if she saw any protesters... “We saw one man with a sign...”
