Only 1/3rd of Americans Supported the American Revolution?

One third of the nation wants red states and blue states to be separate countries. Only 1/3 of the people wanted a Revolutionary War 250 years ago. I believe the numbers will grow as the tyranny grows.

I would love to see that. The Left always brags that we on the Right would perish without them. Let’s see how that works out. Now’s as good a time as any.

Consider the Irish.

For 700 years the English subjugated them by their favored technique of supporting the claims of rival clans against each other.

This was their usual tactic in African and Asian nations as well.

In Ireland the turning point came when the rebels moved against the Irish who worked for the English - informers, police - the traitors the English relied on to do their dirty work.

Once the IRA eliminated these the English were forced to rely on their own assets like the brutal Black and Tans, who alienated the native population.

The English lost any support among the pacified Irish and that was the end of British Ireland.

Then consider those who sided with the democrats against their own.

I’m proud to say my 9th great-grandfather who served with the 8th Albany Militia and was at West Point when Benedict Arnold committed his treason.
Today the communist want to erase our history because they have no accomplishments but murders and destructions in their history.
We can’t let that happen.
If you are eligible PLEASE join the Sons of the American Revolution, Grand Society of The War of 1812, and/or The Sons of Union Veterans of The Civil War.
Freepmail me for details.

They can join the Sons of Confederate Vets as well, who are much more active than the SUV. And they have plenty experience being cancelled and shamed, while still overwhelmingly being pro-American.

I am a member of the SAR and am eligible to join both the SUV and the SCV but haven't. I may have an ancestor who would qualify me for the War of 1812 Society but records for that war seem to be less easily accessible.

One of the members of the local chapter of the SAR was born in Canada but had an ancestor who was on the Patriot side in the Revolution. I don't recall his family history but there were many Americans who moved to Upper Canada after the war to acquire land. Jefferson thought that it would be easy to conquer Canada in 1812 because there were so many Americans living there, but it did not work out that way.

I was in Fredericton, New Brunswick, once for a conference. A number of the early residents there were Loyalists. I went to an old cemetery to see if I could find any grave markers which could be of Loyalists but no grave markers that old survived.
