And, talk about a double standard; the couple in St. Louis are charged while just brandishing their weapons when a mob threatened their home, but no charge for shooting someone, who is unarmed, on the other side of a door, in a public building?
The Speaker’s Lobby is the hallway outside the House of Representatives Chamber. There are multiple sets of doors that lead into the chamber.
And, there was round in the chamber of the street-clothed US Capitol policeman that shot to kill Ashli Babbitt.

Why didn’t they use a taser on her? The left is always crying why cops don’t use tasers, even on armed perps. So why was she shot when a taser would have done the trick, especially in light of the fact that she wasn’t armed, and wasn’t an immediate threat to any of the men standing on the other side of the door. They didn’t even know who was climbing through the door. It could have been another cop, or even a Congress critter. The guy saw movement, and just fired. It could have been a kid for that matter.
A Taser, pepper spray, or even a take down and knee to the neck would have been a more sane choice. A death sentence for trespass is outrageous, I hope the family files a wrongful death suit.
Or - he could have just captured her when she got through the window and cuffed her. But, hell, it's much easier to just end her life with center mass shot, isn't it?

I would assume that House members Pelosi, Schumer, McCarthy, and possibly others have plain clothes protection from the Capitol Police. The guys with drawn weapons inside the Chamber are probably one or more of them.

I never said 75 million didn't vote for Trump, just that more voted for Biden. And that is not anecdotal; that is the official vote count.

I assume you are an LEO. You may think you have the right to massacre protestors. In 1932, life was cheap. No one thought twice about following orders to fire on American civilians. Today, the soldiers involved would probably spend the rest of their lives in prison. Attitudes have changed. Elected officials aren’t kings whose primary distinction is that they have to run for office. Even the style of governance has to be different. That includes not slaughtering unarmed protestors.
