These folks are intentionally WAY behind the curve so the USA stays run by FearPorn.

What a bunch of knuckleheads. Dr Coates has been saying this for months. melatonin, vitamin D (very important), iron, vitamin C, a little bit of green tea. It does not stop you from catching it, but it helps to keep you out of the hospital.
If it doesn’t cure COVID, at least it’ll help you sleep.
I’ve taken melatonin for years. I still got Covid.
Same here. And good dreams equals waking up in a good mood where bad dreams will have opposite effect. A bad or weird dream will now wake me up prematurely as well. Anyone else? Thought that one grew out of that once reaching adulthood but it starting happening a few years ago.
Psalm 90:10 - "The days of our lives are seventy years;
And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,
Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;
For it is soon cut off, and we fly away".
You're not into the bonus round yet.
Benadryl knocks me out for about 6 hours.
I’ve heard that, but I take 3mg sometimes and no issues except I sleep without waking up as often.
I have to take both to sleep most nights.
Back on April 13 on a discussion thread here on FreeRepublic, the following link was posted....
The context for this was that this was what the East Virginia Medical School was offering as guidance for healthcare providers treating COVID-19 patients…..specifically, this protocol was what they believed was effective in damping down the hyper-inflammatory cytokine “storm”.
Melatonin was part of the protocol that was recommended and so I added it (and quercetin) to the rest of the vitamins and supplements that I was already taking to round out my own ‘avoidance’ protocol.
It is amazing how important decent sleep is to our overall physical and mental well being.
Sleep problems are the worst. I wouldn’t wish them on anyone, except for our crooked politicians! ;)
Ha... I believe the link from April that I just posted in 52 is basically the same recommendation as your link... No surprise since both reference Dr. Paul Marik, MD.
I have only been this way for two years. I fell two years ago and sprained my ankle and foot. It seemed to be doing ok but I went to the doctor after two weeks because I still had some swelling. He put me in a boot and it’s been downhill from there. I have seen three ankle specialists, had multiple xrays, and 3 MRIs and nothing shows up that should keep me from walking without pain. The ankle and foot specialist I’m seeing now will be doing an EMG nerve test next month because there is no physical reason for the pain when I walk.
The day before I fell I rode 20 miles through the woods on a mountain bike and I was walking about 15 miles a week.
Doing nothing but sit in front of a tv all day doesn’t make me tired enough to sleep.
That usually means the dose is too high to start with. It can give you a few weird dreams until your body adjusts.
I was having a problem with having NO dreams and never feeling rested after a full sleep. Melatonin brought back the ability to dream and consequently, i feel more rested.
It doesn’t help me fall asleep, but it improves the quality of my sleep.
There are some folks who really do struggle with it so maybe they aren’t needing it.
Great, another product that will disappear from the shelves.
It raised my blood pressure. Anybody else?
That’s a nice passage, especially the last two lines. Thanks
