President Donald Trump on Friday continued to push raising the amount of direct payments the massive Covid stimulus package should provide to Americans, but gave no indication on whether he would sign or veto the existing bill.
"Made many calls and had meetings at Trump International in Palm Beach, Florida. Why would politicians not want to give people $2000, rather than only $600? It wasn't their fault, it was China. Give our people the money!" Trump tweeted.

.....It's been 5 months since the additional $300/wk ended and I know a heckuva a lot of people that were expecting those payments so they could pay their Back Rent/Mortgage payments .... After the protection against eviction ends it will be time to pay the Devil his due .....
Some were saying Lindsey Graham visiting Trump in Florida meant he was trying to get him to sign onto the original Covid relief bill. Trump insisting on the $2000 check suggests otherwise.

If so, then why do they want to give Sri Lanka $15 million for a “high endurance cutter patrol boat”?? Is there Covid in the ocean that’s making it’s way to the USA?
i think congress will override the veto, and then dems will pass another $2000 bill because that’s what they do. and the president will be forced to signed it because, that’s what he wants.
My best guess is secret negotiations with Sri Lanka to cooperate in sharing intelligence about movement of Chinese Navy in the Indian ocean.

Makes more sense than the billions going to control-freak special interest groups. We know that those billions will be squandered. But with the stimulus checks, what will each individual do with his or her money? Seems kinda Solomon-like, really. :)
I just read in another article that there is supposedly a “hidden” provision in this legislation that terminates the Insurrection Act. Has anyone else seen anything about this? I would not put it against the dens and their willing accomplice deep staters and RINOs.
...... I believe the disputed COVID-19 stimulus package was supposed to temporarily extend the federal eviction moratorium until January 31 .... Otherwise I think it ends at the end of Dec ....
I saw a screenshot that it’s in there - says Congress has to approve if he uses the Insurrection Act.
The bill is over 5000 pages. 500 sheets of paper to a ream, 10 reams to a paper carton.

American’s should be getting at least $15 and hour( min wage) x40 hour work week x 36 weeks and counting...and it still won’t help if the economy isn’t jump started. Too many businesses are failed and it’s a national tragedy.
$15 million ADDITIONAL money in pockets of Sri Lanka can buy a lot of favors. Never underestimate greed.
Nancy already said, you have to pass it to know what is in it. Wealth transfer from the vast middle class to the ruling class is what the swamp thrives on. DC & environs are the richest area in US for a reason.
