NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A large explosion was reported in downtown Nashville early Christmas morning.
The explosion happened in the area of Second Avenue and Broadway near Commerce Street

We burn garbage and bury the unburnable residue. To make safe small propane and MAP gas bottles I shoot them full of holes in order for them to deplete their flammable gases. I used to use a .22. Now it’s either a .45 or a 7.62. I have never had one explode.
Now in the case of a tank that is still liquid filled, there might be a hydraulic action similar to when a bottle of water or water melon is shot at. The liquid might pressure up very rapidly as with the water melon and cause the sides to rupture. We would then have your white cloud of gas.
I have an out of date 20 lb bottle that’s about half full. Just for fun I think I will run a 7.62 through it with a couple of cameras doing movies near it.
Photos and video from the area show the narrow 2nd Street corridor—which normally sees a high volume to pedestrian and tourist traffic—with scorched storefronts, burned trees, and blown out windows. The block running from Broadway to Commerce St. on 2nd Ave. is home to The George Jones Museum, The Wildhorse Saloon owned by Ryman Hospitality (The Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium), BB King’s Blues Club, Coyote Ugly, Benchmark, Big Shotz, and Leon’s Candy store, among other businesses.
No word on the severity of damage at these businesses at this time, though many of the establishments are in historic brick buildings that appear to have withstood the explosion.

Who walks in the direction of a huge explosion immediately afterward ? Surprised they weren’t injured by glass or other flying debris.
We’d shoot the smaller bbq ones full with a 338 win mag. Pretty big boom and cloud, but no fire. For extra effect. Do that, but put a road flare or something next to it first lol. The canister itself goes who knows where.
Don’t forget an ignition source heh.

Hearing blasts isn’t unusual where I live, because we’re a mile from a quarry that regularly dynamites. What was odd is the time of morning (6:30) and that it was Christmas.
Third, that is is the first of a number of Deep State actions intended to convince the public that Trump supporters are unhinged and that to further entertain Trump's claims that the election was stolen is tantamount to terrorism.

At first glance, it looks like BLM/antifa. They have a presence in the area.(see wardaddy’s posts.
antifa always justifies the destruction by saying “Oh, well, the rich insurance companies will pay for it.”
Mods removed this from the sidebar - apparently a domestic dispute between a wife and Georgia US Senate candidate is more important than an apparent domestic terrorist attack. Commentators saying that it has more characteristics of an IRA or Weather Underground attack from years past than an ISIS or Islamist attack that targets civilians.
PD’s all over the country have been alerted by FBI. Might they think there is a coordinated effort afoot?
Here is something that may be connected:
Here in Williamsport PA, on Christmas Eve at 2-3 a.m., a person with an air rifle walked calmly down several streets in different neighborhoods and casually shot out dozens of windows in parked vehicles.
It was a woman, caught on camera, being driven from place to place in a car.
So, two perps. An extreme act of nasty vandalism. The damaged cars had to sit in an all- day downpour.
But why on Christmas Eve?
We do have an antifa presence in the Port.
Comments on local sites held a great deal of anti-Christian sentiment.
We know that antifa is anti-Christian.

The people nearby the explosion heard two separate rounds of gunfire to wake them up by the terrorists.
Antifa is eclectic. They draw their tactics from many Communist, Nazi, and other historical terrorist manuals. IRA included.
How scary!
I read about a woman in a third floor condo on second street who heard the shots and the warning. She ran out in her pajamas to some sort of shelter.
When she returned, her building was a wreck.
